There is no mobs in the bunker that use Electric Damage, so there's no need to bring along armor that has high protection vs that. They use Kinetic and Energy.

If you check the weapons used by the mobs, you'll see that for ranged they use T21, Elite Carbine, D18 Pistol and such.

When they switch to Melee, they use Wood staff, Metal staff, Heavy Axe, Survival Knife and so on.

All of the ranged weapons is Energy damage, and all of the melee weapons is Kinetic.

Great guide!

I think what he's saying about the armor is that if you only have electric in the special protection and kinetic/energy under base you can get it sliced up to 90% and the encumb will be less over all.

Tanks will destroy a set of armor pr trip!

so i'd use the cheapest available armor with 80% kinetic/energy resist you can get.

You will be fine with 80% kinetic/energy armor in the DWB. I'm a pure TKM myself and as long as I have someone to heal me from time to time, HAM loss is not a concern except for a few really dangerous rooms(like the "Other" Overlord's room where the spawns are insane). And you most definitely will burn through a lot of armor down there.

Depending on the size of the group, expect to lose anywhere between 10k to 20k durability on a set of composite. Potentially more depending on what you are doing. That said, we have had people in just Ubese armor survive down there on our trips(well a composite helmet but the rest Ubese). I wouldn't recommend that though But, what kills you is time in the DWB, not the mobs if you proceed carefully. Time because the SBD's take forever to kill and once your buffs do drop, unless you are a Jedi, you are dead for certain.

'Instead of killing the SBDs, what we do if there are more than one (which there frequently is) is get them down to low mind (enough that we can take in 10 seconds or so) and hold it while we accomplish our objective (like spawning and killing the DW guys and keyholder in the second key room), then finish them off all at once so we do not have to deal with respawns."

which would require a team made purely out of riflemen and swordsmen... which is and would be a hassle to get.

and as for aggroid every mob down there...

either you have never been in the dwb or you;ve never been a melee player...

the only professions that aggro everything by doing area attacks are rifleman, carabines, pistollers, jedi and bh

im commando and i use cone attacks rarely and nothing else aggroes except for what we are fighting at the moment.

to each his own i guess..

Choose which pool you want. Take Carbineers and Pikeman and focus on action if you want. Just mind hitting tends to be the most effective, as Rifleman, Swordsman, TKMs, BHs, and even Jedi with the 1-handed LS tree can all target the mind pool. And its well known that Rifleman and Swordsman are great in PvE, and there is a large population of them and TKMs on every server.

Well, it seems like some people think they know better about some parts and some professions.

Let me say this. This guide is a GUIDE... it's made to help people getting thru the bunker.

I'm not gonna argue with ppl about "in this room you can use area, and in this room you can't". Try teaching every groupmember in what corner he can, and in what corner he can't use area.

There's absolutely no use for taking the risk with area attacks.

We made it with these tactics i've described in this guide.

We have crafted a Jetpack, and we have crafted a Mandalorian Armor Helmet.

We haven't lost any members exept when someones buffs ran out. With the exeption of 2 occations, where a jedi got a "lucky-hit" from a mob and died in 1 blow. Which you can't really prevent from happening.

This alone should prove beyond any doubt, that what i have written here works. If you got any better ideas, or think you know better, then by all means do it. I'm not going to tell you guys how to do it. I've provided this guide as a help. Nothing else. Do whatever you like downthere.

There.... now i found a server that should be able to take the load.

I've added links to the 3 movies we made within the bunker in the initial post.

Go download them... they're quite cool..

Oh, and we btw crafted another Jetpack yesterday, Again with 9 people, but only 2 Jedi... AND a Master Creature Handler!

great guide.

all the hints and guides as far as how to make your way through the bunker was right on target imo.

i'll spare you the details since this is a guide and not an end-all bible for the bunker, but i have yet to find a team on any server who handles the mobs and move the way my team does.

also not to be a pr!ck, just letting you know that:

if your crafter does get engaged while crafting, that does not necessarily mean that the crafting process will be cancelled. we've crafted with 5 ppl in the group a few times, and twice has our crafter been engaged and still crafted successfully. i saw "does not necessarily" mean it'll be cancelled if engaged, because past history shows me that the bunker is very buggy and not at all consistent once crafting is initiated. for example -

you also mention that after a successful craft that only the crafter is booted, and the remainder of the team stays inside the bunker. that also is not always the case. heres whats happened to my team over the past few months:

1. just the crafter ejected, rest of team stayed
2. team ejected, crafter stayed
3. all ejected
4. all stayed
5. only squad leader and crafter ejected (dont ask me why)

again just offering some info from my experience braving the bunker.

good work

Our experience with the ejection process is this:

Armor crafting: Just the crafter is ejected. BUT if you wait the 5 min timelimit on the craftingroom, the rest of the team will get booted out as well.

Jetpack crafting: entire team is booted out with the crafter.

I know the crafter can continue even if he happend to get attacked, but it's not adviceable due to the 30 sec timelimit on the terminal. Which is why i write as i do.

If you wanna see how my team moves, you can always DL the movies i uploaded. i'd say we did pretty well.

2 Jetpacks and 1 Helmet crafted within 1 week proves that...

But ye.. it's a guide, not a bible. People will learn specific things not mentioned in the guide as well.
