Yet somehow I never seem to break things /that/ often. I can say with certainty that I get 2 maybe 3 repairs out of any weapon (or piece of armor) and I slice EVERYTHING.

Something doesn't add up here.

Hey TH, any word on the CR docs? Its been two weeks....

I know you guys really want to know the answer and the best answer I have now is "soon".The hardware work is going on, correspondents are reading your posts and we are doing a lot of hard core prep. When Tyrant says "go", I have just about everything laid out and ready. Its more about logistics than anything else. Once we put up the info, we want to be able to soak up all the feedback and act on it. We're also working on ways to get more people onto the sandbox. Its just a matter of having everything in place.

But this is a Tuesday Tip thread, so please lets stay on topic.

Maybe what he means by "repair" is getting only minor blemishes when you repair it. Because I get about the 2 or 3 repairs out of my items and only get a minor blemishes once in a blue moon.

Time is essential right now Thunderheart. Holding off with publishing information will result, correction, allready is resulting to frustration. If you're able to share the checklist with us before its released, and know whats crossed. Right now all we have is "soon". That answer has a bad rep TH.

had to get that in for tonight

I usually repair my weapons and armor when they get around 50%. I've only had5 critical failures that I remember (and they were on an acklay stun baton, 2 acklay gaffi's, and 2 comp chests that got to 0 condition......lol). I justretiredthe very 1st T21 I ever bought (it now hangs above my fireplace.....lol). I've had it for about 6 months now and repaired it 10- 20 times (the condition was 123/123......lol). I still have the very first 80% composite bicepts and bracers I ever bought (of course the other armor pieces decay ALOT quicker).

The acklay modded items seem to have a higher crit failure rate, so I don't count them. My friend tried to repair his stun baton at 900ish/1010 and it poofed. I've also hear Geo pistols and exeptional/legendary items also poof more often when repaired.

I am not a weapon/armorsmith, so I may just be VERY lucky. I am a Mon Cal (I don't think there's any repair bonus for them). I have had good luck repairing at about 50% condition, try it and see if it works for you.

Well then that i'd agree with... but when i see a phrase like "It reduces the chance to repair the thing near to nil though." I think that mean you'll almost always completely blow the repair and break it, not partially repair it and get another couple weeks out of it.

TH, great Tuesday tip. Is there a mod for Armorsmiths repairing armor also?

maybe you should make more use of molecular clamps and let weaponsmiths use them to have a better chance at repairing weapons, same with armorsmiths, doens thave to eb 100% but a noticable difference.

/bo tran

Go buy a ticket to go somewhere from theed...then go out front of the starport. type /bo tran and a pop up will happen asking which location you would like to travel too. Now you are free to do WHATEVER it is you would like to do (combat/swim/run out of the city) then when you feel like traveling click OK...BAM you shuttle out from almost anywhere you want.

rumor has it if you are dead it will even rez you too...5 out of 6 CSR say it is not an exploit too.

i use /bo trans all the time...especially as BH when u need to catch the shuttle to avoid any unnecceasrywaits. I have it hotbar'd so i board the shuttle as soon as i receive the ticket in my inventory
