SOE didn't take the time to stop this problem before innocent players suffered for it.
They're not taking the time to find out if these funds were received in legitimate transactions...
What makes anyone think they'll actually take time to change the code of the game over this?
Sure, it would be great to see, but don't expect anything from a company that "protects the play experience" for their customers by banning them all...
LOL....sad but true.
I have watched for a long while now and SOE always fixes these types of problems by banning players or have players policy the game amd report cheaters. The idea of fixing their code to address these problems ( or communicating to their paying customers what they are doing to address the issues)never seems to enter their minds....lol

This would also be helpful for the friends I have that like to try and ninja tip me when I tell them not to.

This is a great idea even if the credit dupe problem didn't exist.

Definately! If I'm subject to banning because someone tips me duped credits, then I want a way to protect my interests

so what about an afk ent...how are they supposed to get a tip if they have to sit there and click yes all day long.....or if you're in the middle of pvp and you decide to piss off the person you're fighting and you make a macro to /tip 1....they get a pop up box and it throws off their game plan.......your reason to petition is good but unfortunately its not fully thought out. If anything there should be the option of getting the dialog or the option to stay as it is now just like with crafting and item deletion inside the options menu. But mandatory with this will suck arse badly because everyone will find a way to exploit this to their advantage.
no one cares about AFKer's. hence the removal of recursive macros.

you really want them to spend dev time on this?
these dupers are out to make money selling credits on ebay. they aren't out there risking their account to randomly tip for griefing purposes.

I like the idea about not accepting tips (including bank tips) from people on my ignore list. Maybe even sending the tipper something that the tip was not accepted because he has been ignored.

After the first thread got mysteriously away.
Here is my 2nd try petition.
In the light of Credit scams, i want to be able to REFUSE a tip, as SOE instructs us.
I wanta switch, that enables/disables a dialogue box, that pops up, if someone tips me.
The box just asks: "XXX tips you YYY credits, do you accept?".
For combat or if i just want to accept any tips, i switch the box off, like with auto-reject group invites.
The refusal of a tip sets aX min counter to automatically refuse any tips from that person for that time.
Also, i cannot be tipped by anyone on my ignore-List.
Sign here....
What a stupid petition?!? or is your sentance just bad?
Try:
/addignore theoffenersname
/tip theoffenersname bank $$$$$$$$

You cant just ban innocent people who've have been tipped by someone trying to get away from SOE.
Sure they can. They are SOE, they just straight up stink.
