Well, that do make sense... that armor hole should acutally be there if you ask me, well at least on helmet models that don't cover the face.

The "armor hole" has been a Correspondent issue for a while and we've been working on it. Currently, it seems that when combat damage hit locations are "rolled", there is an eye slot. Since there is no "eye armor", when a creature, MOB or player has a "to hit" that scores the eye-location, it goes right through because there is no armor for that slot.
Its one of the holes we hope to have plugged very soon

And that's exactly the reason that Death Decay should be temporarily suspended until the "hole is plugged"...Some of us have died thanks to this bug many times...I've been killed at least 5 times over the last 2 months thanks to this bug...And I'm wearing 80% base composite...I can see in my combat spam that occasionally a big hit goes right through with no absorption at all...this leads to death, decay, and loss of the insurance money I had to spend to insure my items...not to mention now having to re-purchase new insurance...
Until this bug is plugged the death decay system should be suspended for PvE (already being turned off for PvP)...If there is an ingame issue causing deaths, why should there be an ingamebug penalizing people for dying?

f f s, eye shot hits the head NOT the eye, put a **edit**ing bucket on your head and havea bh spam you and see for yourself, your armour will work fine

I know he isn't talking about BH eyeshot. I asked a simple question. Who got your **edit** panties in a bunch? For all you know I may be BH myself. Did I say nerf anything? NO. I just asked a question. I can still stomp the arse out any BH I find, so I could careless if it is unfair. Combat is all going to change soon anyways, and half of the people here will cry NERF.

nooblets....Thunderheart wasnot talking about "BH eye shot"..... he's talking about shots that happen to go in the eye SLOT. ie: you shoot overcharge shot 2 and it happens to hit the eye slot.

When I get hit through the armor hole, it's usually Health damage...

Oh..hmmm thats funny because it doesnt do crap against a 90% resist helmet....

Yep. Combined with the fact that it does mind damage, has relatively low ham cost, and is at BH Pistol II (not IV or Master where it should be).

This would also explain why there's about 2x as many mind hits as there should be =P

imo they should put in more holes. 80% resist to everything? why not just increase the rich players ham to 8000? say if your bank account goes over 1 million, you automatically get 8k ham. i mean why beat around the bush?
