The "armor hole" has been a Correspondent issue for a while and we've been working on it. Currently, it seems that when combat damage hit locations are "rolled", there is an eye slot. Since there is no "eye armor", when a creature, MOB or player has a "to hit" that scores the eye-location, it goes right through because there is no armor for that slot.

Its one of the holes we hope to have plugged very soon

Umm, who is the idiot that assigned a attack location that didn't match up with an armor slot? I mean seriously, I am not even a programer and this seems like such an obvious glaring error it never should have made it into the game....

So does this mean that the BH skill eyeshot has an unfair advantage?

Eye, Back and Belt are the three that cause full damage.

Yep. Combined with the fact that it does mind damage, has relatively low ham cost, and is at BH Pistol II (not IV or Master where it should be).

Aren't we past this yet?

I was just curious as I never really heard about the "armor hole".Everyone will be nerfed with the combat revamps anyways.

Personally, I think having an eye slot that can be shot through is pretty cool, as long as actually MAKING the shot requires someone who's a Master Pistoleer/Master BH with really good luck, or someone who isn't a master with INSANELY good luck.

Just make it basically a 1 in 500 chance or something and its not a problem (and ends up being pretty cool when you do make the shot).

Unfair advantage my behind! Haven't you cry-babies nerfed BH enough? Now BH has NO defences and can be kicked around by a mere pistoleer, i'm not even talking about TKA! Right now BH is a joke with defence abilities no better than an entertainer, while it SHOULD be the most powerful 1on1 pvp/pve profession simply because of XP points it takes to master.

I'm sick of everybody always trying to nerf BH
