Yes, they cleverly hid the update notes in the SWG Patch Notes forums, and to be even sneakier, they mentioned it on the launchpad update notes too.
(Okay, so the patch note doesn't list everything that was fixed about it, but it was mentioned.)

TH, is there any ETA on a register location ability for Image Designers? We're technically Entertainers, too, and it would be nice to be able to open a map and see if an ID's on duty. We're a rare breed.
You know - thats a great idea. It is next to impossible to find an Image Designer, search doesn't always give you a response that helps anyway - registration would be nice for them.

Hey, I've got a Tuesday tip of my own!
Fix the crap that doesn't work!
Other than that...is it really hard to use the search function? Or maybe find all of your entertaining needs at the Coronet Cantina?
This is completely useless to players who have played more than 5 days...

I've been playing since release and I didn't know that, I'll remember to try it onnear-deserted planets, rendering it useful

did you know..
that if you take a mission that requires you to go fetch someone, that you don't have to wait for them to follow you?
just talk to them and then jump on your bike and take off. when you go talk to the mission giver they will think they are there. even if they are all the way across the planet! no waiting for them to follow you!

TH, thank you for posting this! The biggest problem with /register (now that it's fixed) is that nobody knows about it to use it. Dancers, Muscians, and Doctors (yes, it does work for Doctors) don't know to do it, and people who need their services don't know to look for it.
It's especially important for Dancers, Muscians, and Doctors to get the message. It does no one any good to check the map if nobody's doing it. And many players don't read patch notes or launchpad notes or pay any attention to these forums. Spread the word, everyone. If you know someone in any of the above three professions, tell them about it. If your PA has these profs in it, send a guild email. If people actually use the tools the game provides, someday you won't have to bother travelling to Coronet to get your business done.
If you're on Lok on the Bria server and need BF on Mind Wounds healed, check the map before travelling. I perform at Nym's cantina when I'm online, and I always /register.

This is a good tip, because people probably don't know to check the planetary map, they just head to Coronet.. even if someone is in a cantina nearby.
Anyway my tip for the day
CTRL+BACKSPACE clears your combat queue instantly
If you didn't know it, might come in useful when you've stacked up a load of specials and suddenly you need to use that stimpack

It's definately useful, but I'd find it infinitely more so if we could see all planetary maps from any planets. In the off-hours on Dathomir, there isn't always someone on the planet. When that happens, I'll just go to Coronet, where I know somebody must be. Unfortunatly, it's still the defualt.
However, if I could view the maps of say, Rori or Talus, and I saw an entertainer on duty there - I just might take the new direct flight (courtesy of JTL) straight there and go to a planet I'd never visit otherwise for something like this.
Just a thought that would make it even more benefical to getting people out of Coronet and preparing them for the nerf.

If you use a wireless mouse, be sure you have spare batteries on hand! Nothing worse then being in the middle of a big trade deal or combat on Dath with some nightsisters and having your mouse go out.
(Which reminds me... i need to get more)
Logitech has a few mice now that have a recharger built into the reciever. When you're done at night, just plop it on the stand and never worry about batteries again. (well, for the mouse).
My Tip: Doing Missions and want to get the same type over and over, but are sick of looking through mission after mission to get them? The price is always (generally) the same. Hurton Stalkers, for example, are 10k and change. Simply sort misions by cash, and hit refresh until you see a mission for 10k in the direction you want.
Also, if you're looking for a solo group to get said ubermissions, try Dantooine Mining Outpost, as that seems to be 'the spot' as far as I've seen to get one. You can then travel anywhere you want.

ROFL... Well if it's any consolation, I HAVE actually used the hotels... mostly to waste my "meatlump money" into the gambling tables (wish we had more choices there.. but thats another topic)

Did you know that you can earn money by opening up a space taxi company? You just need any kind of multi passenger ship and use the instant travel option. Yeah, all other JTLers wont need your services but you can carry NON-JTLers that way to different planets instantly so they dont have to wait for the public shuttle. They'll surely be glad to pay to arrive quicker at their destination.
