I recently went from strong to Glowing. I just wanted to input what it took for me to get to glowing.

A) At least 1 Prof badge. (I already had 2 when Pub 10 came out)

B) 3 Jedi POIs ~~Temple of Exar Kun ~ Jedi Temple on Dant wit hthe waterfall ~ Ben's Hutt~~

I had all the Location an explorer badges already so I am sure a few others will work as well.

C) 3 Themeparks. I did Rebel = Jabba = Nym. The reason I dissagree with above is (1) I have seen this posted on another board. (2) personal expieriance. I had 2 warren badges 1 Rebel themepark. Cries of alderaan badge, Hero of Tat badges, the 4 mark badges for hero of Tat, and many other badges as well as Corvette badges. I did not move up from Surgeing within. I certainly had a few more then 5 content badges. So I tried what I saw on another site. I decided to do 2 more themeparks. I did Jabba and Nym because I am a rebel. As soon as I completed last Quest for nym's themepark and having Jabba's Completed I went right to Glowing, "You recieve Jabba's badge of Ect Ect" Immediatly did /Check and I was Glowing. WuuHuu. I am now goin to test this on another server were I have almost no badges. I will do Just the 1 prof, 3 Jedi POIs, and three themeparks. IF that Doesnt work, I have seen it mentioned that you need the master explorer badge: 45 exploration badges. IF that works I know I Was right, if it doesnt then no harm because you need all this anyhow My Advice is do the three themeparks before worrying about anything else content badge wise an see what happens, may save ya time. BUT if ya dont mind and Like earning badges Then do all yas can. I personally enjoyed the Hero of Tatooine badge.

There must be a otherway to get the bagde, than get the corvette race as rebel scum and neutral!! i dont wanna chance faction, and loose my faction points

i mastered 4 holo's 12 profs in all. when i logged on today it said "surge"

im wondering which i should do now since im only one step away. i have 2 of the 3 jedi POI's i'll try the 3rd and see if it unlocks. if im already at surge and havent completed any themeparks i dont want to have to waste time doing them if all i needed was another POI.oh i do have act 1 and 2 badges if thats anything

And i didnt master any major profession either!

Master Marksman only.

Does anyone know how to bring the old man quicker?

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

Well I came back to SWG about 2 weeks before Pub 10 after leaving last year in October. Upto Publich 10 I reskilled from Master Carbineer/Master Ch to Master Brawler/TKA/Fencer. So at the start of Pub 10 I had mastered 5 Professions, I had exactly zero Badges and not one single theme park.

At this point with /Check I got the result that I was barely feeling anything, over the last few days I have collected over 50 badges, all hard POIs, all Jedi POIs, 2 warren and 1 Corvett badges and am at the moment feeling a "Surge" of the force.

Should be interesting after visiting the Librarian tonight what my status will be.

well, where the heck are the themeparks? (ex. reb, imp, nym??) i have absoutilly NO clue!! so below i will list the avaible chars!! thx

I followed the guide and went to glow - I did the warren (2 badges), rebel theme park, jabba and nym - 5 total

I visited the POI's identified

I visited a few of the other easy poi's

I did make one mistake - I accidently did the first sith mission (near destroyed Jedi temple)- kill the beast, I screwed up and though the dude was the old man. Not sure if I am hosed or not

A friend did the same missions went to glow and had his visit - no problems.

yes this guide works i have done jabbas,nyms,the warren badges,imp themepark,the jedi poi's,the difficult poi's,and the easy ones and i already have a strong sense of the force within me, all i need is the profession badge which i have decided is going to be swordsman and all the themeparks were pretty easy and took a couple days to get to where i am now. good guide

Hello Everyone,

great post and guide. I have a quick question... I am at the Temple of Exar Kun, but I can't seem to get the bagge. I cannot go very far in the temple as I am a declared imp and have never finished the rebel theme park. Do I need to get inside the temple to get the badge or do I get it outside somewhere? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having lots of trouble

I've done 22 profs, all holos

Jabba theme park

2 warren badges

Nyms badge

all jedi POIs

all dangerous POIs

and various easy POI's

and I'm still surging.

Do i have to do the rebel theme park?
