Only non workable bugin the hermit quest is the "Alturism" quest (placing the explosives in the rock).

Completed the BH, Pirates and Boar quests in approximately 10 hours not bugged just time consuming to find. The 10 hours includes finding the farmer, going to the cave, finding the "bug" ( not being able to place the explosives in the small rock), sending a ticket getting response back then submitting bug report thencompleting the other quests.

just because you can't find things doesn't make it "Bugged".

used the work around on the BH, worked fine.

used the work around on the pirate leader worked fine

searched for6 hours for the boar, best tip I can give on this is go slow, turn on the overhead npc names, put the font on high.

I found the boarwest of the starting point of the Mos espa race track in the hills.

I just found a fixnote for publish 24 for the Intelect Badge but this is a workable bug. The Altruism Badge is completly not to achieve cause the bug cant be solved in any way.

So this needs more a fix then the smuggler names in Intelect badge... To workaround this bug simply open 5 tabs and try all in the list since u get the right one.

You need to open 6 tabs, there are6 smugglers not 5. Just FYI.

How can the waypoints be false when people actually found the pirates at those exact coordinates?

I know what you mean, but do you know what you are actually saying?

  • The pirates do not spawn at a specific set of coordinates, they spawn somewhere inside an area west of Mos Eisley.

  • Exact WP's are useless, but theydo make up the general area that you can find the pirates inside.

yes i do know but the isue is that those waypoints are no longer valid as with each reset the spawns automatically move and wont respawn in the same place again plus the npc,s wonder

there was no waypoint within 2000m of where i found the pirate in facth there was no wp on that side of eisly at all

Oh, right - I said west of Eisley, but I meant east.
That's where I found them one month ago.

The area may have been expanded, though. I've heard other reports of them spawning west of Eisley... One or two.

You may want to state that the farmer is not bugged(he does walk around out there) but the portion of the quest to place the explosives in the rock to free his wife and daughter are bugged and there is no work around.

I read these forums every now and then and I can't understand why people are asking the same questions there are at least 3 very well written threads on these bug issues and the work around/non-work around quests.

Just because you can't find something doesn't make it "Bugged" and the waypoints are approximates you will need to search the area of the waypoints. They are there to get you in the area of where someone has spotted them.
to find them put the NPC names on and crank up your vis. You may also want to check the area on a mount rather than a vehicle, it gives thing time to spawn.

As far as the Pirates kill his 2 flunkies then if you are a cl. 70 or higher the leader will not be able to kill you so don't spaz out Just run from him (do not burst run) as soon as his agro stops then burst run to him and converse ASAP. If you are waiting on your vehicle to generate you can waste time.
