Tried after server restart with same result. To make sure that this is a serverwide bug i got proof from other people in the Hermit Walkthrough who have the same problem after pub 23.

I know it looks like the devs dont look into most of the forums so where else can i address this bug??

This is true as far as I know myself, I am doing the same quest on Corbantis and I get the exact same bug.
I've also tried many different things such as: Logging out completely (using the /logout command)/Killing everyhing in the cave/Leaving the cave entirely, and letting everything re-spawn. Still nothing seems to work.
I hope this gets fixxed soon. I know they have always had issues with this quest series.
Until then, Im going to do some other quests on Kashyyyk.

sent a ticket to CSR about this, they said it would be fixed in one of the upcoming patches. which means at least a month i'm guessing untill we can complete this quest..............great. if i'd found the farmer a day earlier i'd be sorted

Tell me about it. As of now all that encounter it should /bug it. The more reports the better right? In theory. Well at least the pirates aren't bugged... oh wait!

Pirates have been bugged for months. Been trying to find them since Christmas. Nowhere to be found.

I had no problem finding the pirates. I can't find the boar. and all I needed was the boar and the farmer. I was so upset when i couldn't get this quest done on Tempest. I've sent in a bug ticket too. Now to wonder around some more and see if I can find that boar.

The pirate bug is passable. The leader is supposed to stop fighting you after a point, but he doesn't. Just run away until aggro ends, get within /conversation range(100m I think) and complete. Not too big a deal, but if you're not paying attention it could be.

The pirates were the easiest part for me. They spawn right outside of my shop south of mos eisley at least twice a month. I was able to literally shoot them from the front step of my shop.

I was never able to find the moisture farmer though.

Noone has reported a workaround so far, but there are talks of a fix in the next publish... (rumor - haven't checked myself)

Same here, I'm on Valcyn. I found the pirates, but no boar. I get the same bug with the cave explosives too. I was searching with a friend and he found it, around 2:30am but I'm not gonna get up to do that.

Couldnt find a note for a fix in next publish... pls this needs a fix too!
