LOSING YOUR CURSOR on your screen? If you're like me, your screen can be quite cluttered and I have a hard time finding my cursor sometimes.
This tip works for Windows XP users. I'm not sure if other versions of windows have the same options and its possible that this is only available to logitech mouse users, but I believe this is a built in WinXP option.
- Open your control panel by clicking START then CONTROL PANEL.
- If you're using the classic view, just open the icon labeled MOUSE. If you're using the category view, open PRINTERS AND OTHER HARDWARE, then open MOUSE.
- In the new window, click the POINTER OPTIONS tab at the top. At the bottom of this window, there is an option to SHOW LOCATION OF POINTER WHEN I PRESS THE CTRL KEY. Check this option and click the OK button.
Now in game, when you want to see just where your mouse cursor is, press the control key. There will be a quick shrinking circle animation around your cursor which does NOT effect in game mechanics that I've found in any way and is VERY helpful in emergency situations.

To save even more time, I noticed when you hit the Alt key, it automatically centers your mouse to the center of the screen in SWG. So if yo uneed to find your mouse, just double tap Alt, switching to the other cursor form and back, and your mouse is centered. A lot easier than going in and messing with Cursors options, just double tap alt.

/setcommandname message
Example: /setcavolleyfire Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock! = will set your /VolleyFire shout to "Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock!"
Awesome.. i was going to start messing around to find those.. i just dont like the new defaults

Hate to be the one bearing bad news but I tried using the /abort command several times
last night and it didn't work. I'm a master pilot two times over and have used /abort many times
without fail - until last night. It nearly cost me losing a space mission but luckily I was hypering
in-system. This was in Corellian space on radiant server - I'll test some more when I get home
tonight.

/aborthyperspace is the command that I use. I don't have any hands-on experience with /abort.

/abort is short for /aborthyperspace you can do any command in game by typing just enough of the command to be unique

/abort has worked fine for me, havent tried it yet after pub24, but just keep trying all the combos from /abort to /aborthyperspace and youll find out which one the game accepts as unique
THANK YOU!
I have been trying to figure this out! Now, for everyone who figured it out for themselves, but didn't bother to tell anyone, and now thinks they're cool because they knew it before........
Why the heck didn't YOU post itin the forums if you're so smart? Hmmmm?
Thanks Thunderheart!
