well that statement that 200 people did it to ruin gameplay is propoganda im sure by sony.
Really think about it. lets say someone duped 100,000,000 million credits or whatever. they got busted. so they got their accounts banned which im sure were shill accounts anyway. Is that person going to admit "I duped credits to ruin everyone's gaming experience" ya cmon get real. They did it so they could sell them on ebay or buy whatever they wanted in the game

Thats from all servers Nish.
Credits are a tool to be used for maint, travel and to buy things. They shouldnt be thought about having 'the most of them'. Greed is nuts.
Alot of the core of the problem is the high paying missions on certain planets while in a group of say 10 or more. The HUGE influx of credits. Ill say this, Ill spend two hours and make say 400k credits in that kinda group. Is that a lot?

You don't need to sell credits on eBay. There are web sites that will pay over $100 cash for 10 mil credits. A duper could make a nice living with this game.

550 billion? Yeesh, that's a bunch of cheese, even Gates and that IKEA furnature dude would raise an eyebrow to that (if'n it were real money...that is). Still, the people who were behind this don't really deserve our hatred, only pity. Ifsomeone gets their kicks from duping credits solely to piss off a MMO community (which obvioulythey didn't even have the basic online social skills to be a part of), thentheir real life must be very depressing indeed. I doubt anyone who would dedicate that much effort anonomously in a game has any real interaction or impact on any person outside of their own home. Unable to make a mark in the real world and simply enjoy the game as an entertainingdiversion, they instead have contempt forsociety and revel in the psudo power they can obtain behind the protective glass of a monitor screen....

I would like to know at least who BECAME billionaires and still are playing due to purchases made from storage vendors with items priced at 9999999999.
Also list the servers that had the dupes...who wants to play on a server that has even 1 of these billionaires now that they can outbid anyone and everyone combined for anything they want?

well thats just it, some did the math correctly above and if those numbers are somewhat accurate by SOE that means there are still 180 billion on the loose somewhere. Lets even say 100billion across all servers. Thats a Huge Chunk of change, Lets say there was an extra 5 billion per server. Thats still game breaking in the end

someone mentioned earllyier that he could legit...make 400k credits in 2 hrs...i am a speedcapped master swordsman/master doc and in a large solo group i can easily make 1.8m in less than 1 buff session which is currently 3.5 hrs... so...tons of credits can be made legit ingame...to many having a million credits seems like tons of money...to me...i feel broke if i get down to 10mill

10 million? I'm happy when I'm around 150,000. I have never had more than 300,000. I have no problems with the game either.
What do you need millions for?

What do you need Millions for? Let's see...
1 full set 4 layer stun Comp. - $ 435,000
1 Extra Set Non-Stun Comp - $ 370,000
3 Vibro Lance woth a flip - $ 100,000
Crates of Foods and Stims - $ 250,000 (minimum!)
Cases of Buff Packs (good) - $1,300,000
2 Droids for Buffing and Stor.- $50,000
Travel tickets for planet hops - $25,000
2 Swoop Bikes (just in case) - $60,000
Houses / Maint / Decorations - $ 200,000
TOTAL - $2,790,000
And that is a very reserved estimate. Av-21's, Uber-Buffs, Disesase and Poison Heal packs, Several sets of Comp (I go through 1 every 2 weeks, it seems), Bio Engineered Clothing, the list goes on and on. I've been playing since Day 1, and I've seen Millions come and go... Hundreds of players have. So if you are going to wonder why there are millionaires in the game, here is a prime example (above) as to why there are.

You really need all that stuff to have fun in the game?
I buy mostly everything off the bazzar in Coronet. It may not be top of the line stuff, but I still have fun playing the game.
If I were to add up all the credits I have ever had in game, I would most likely be in the millions. I have just never had that many at once.
