"Approximately 200 people were directly involved in the exploit and attempting to hide the gains realized from it. Some of these people admitted directly they were trying to destroy the SWG play experience."

I'd say that that is the most discouraging part of the entire ordeal. The people who cheated did so not neccisarily just for their own gain, but simply in an attempt to ruin the gameplay for everyone else. People with this griefer mindset don't belong anywhere in an MMO, or even any online community for that matter.

Disliking a game is no reason to act like an major jerk and ruin gameplay for others. If you don't like the game, quit, and leave those who like it to their peace. These people are just scum who hide behind their computers and take sick pleasure in tormenting other online players. Rather pathetic people really.

the problem is the credits taken is only 75% of all of them which leaves I beleive 180million (i took that number from another post so if it is wrong blame them not me ) approximately left in the servers... that is still a huge number of duped credits

Well the post about 75% being remvoed is days old, so they could likely have removed even more of it by now.

well that statement that 200 people did it to ruin gameplay is propoganda im sure by sony.
Really think about it. lets say someone duped 100,000,000 million credits or whatever. they got busted. so they got their accounts banned which im sure were shill accounts anyway. Is that person going to admit "I duped credits to ruin everyone's gaming experience" ya cmon get real. They did it so they could sell them on ebay or buy whatever they wanted in the game
Total Proproganda.

Actually I'm sure it's more true than you give it credit for. There's a long history of grifers in MMOs going to extremes with exploits, that in many cases don't even benefit them, but cause great harm to many other players and the game itself. Why do they do it? The usual response from them is because they can and because they think it's fun/funny to piss other people off and ruin their gameplay.

I remember seeing a post with a link to someone selling massive amounts of credits on Ebay. I would think profit be the primary motivation for doing this.

Just look at Scylla. We have entire guilds which have no purpose other than "grief the other side".

If only 75% were removed that would mean there was originally 733 billion, 550 billion were removed, and 183 BILLION are left.

Soe has ticked many people off. I'm surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.
I came across a site that you have to pay to learn how to dupe, cheat etc. Can't SOE sue them? Not Not sure of the legalities, but if anyone from soe is listening, and not aware of
these types of sites. E-mail me ingame, name is Voric. I will give you the address. Not going to
post it here for obvious reasons.
