So why isn't itconsidered kill stealing when you (the person who claims to be having kills stole from them) is camping the Fort? If you really want to make things fair, place a time on how long you can be in a paticular "dungeon", but oh no! That wouldtake away from your loot whoring. So instead of bitching about someone else trying to get the same loot your spawn camping, think about your own actions.

Now was this really necessary? I don't think anyone said anything about camping anything. Now I can't speak for the original post author but I never camp anything - I just don't have the patience or the energy. I like to actually get to kill stuff, not just sit and wait for it to reach its next spawn cycle.
The fact of the matter is, people have lost the concept of common courtesy. If someone is fighting a mob, leave it alone unless they ask for help. If you don't want to help, let them die and then you are welcome to the kill. Anyone who has played this game for longer than 1 week even, knows how easy it is to figure out who is just a newb, who is grinding a new prof or who is just there for the loot. I am just asking people to try being nice ~ you dont' have to talk to them or be their friend, just leave them alone. Such a sad, sad universe we live in
Yes it was necassary! Don't try to bull**edit** a bull**edit**ter, honestly. Are you trying to say people go the Fort, run through it once and then leave? I think not, ie camping. The Fort spawns NPCs that drop fairly good loot thats why everyone is there and thus why everyone cries kill stealing when their camping expedition does not produce the uber loot they seem to think they are entitled to.
Until the devs make the absolute BEST things in this game purely player made, you will always have this problem. I'm not trying to advocate kill stealing, I don't do it, but I don't do it because I never go to these caves, and because I know how frustrating it is. On the same coin though, if it is not your spawned mission you don't own that NPC or have any rights to it. If you're grinding these places aren't the best to do it anyway, but I'm not trying to tell people how to play the game we all pay the same for. Like I said if you **edit** and moan about kill stealing ask yourself how long you have been in that particular cave/dungeon/poi.

And like I said I can't speak for the original poster but honestly I can say, I generally am not at the Tusken fort longer than 30 minutes. The only reason I even go there is because Tat is my home planet and it is the only decent spot on the planet for loot. I get frustrated quickly with the rude behavior I witness and just leave and move on.
Course I did learn running to the bottom of Fort Tusken right after server rest while not wearing armor is a bad idea...that damn Tuskan Observer, Executioner and Witch Doctor all standing together killed me in 4 shots
Maybe spawning them more often would help clear out the caves of the solo loot campers..hmmmmm.............

This is not "Stealing", nor is it "harrasment". These NPC spawns are for everyone, this is not a mission you took, it doesn't have your name on it. I might agree that it is acourtesy, and that perhaps they should change the way the loot rights go as to the first that hits it instead, but then you'd have people tabbing thru enemies there and elsewhere shooting it once and getting the loot rights. However, this is a game, and while I might consider it rude, it is a game, if you want rights do more damage.
I usually laugh pretty hard when I go out there on our server, newbies galore screaming killstealer at various people when the other guy was there first anyhow, and then screaming help 2 minutes later when unarmed 2 isn't taking out the warlord they decided to take on alone, and of course then dieing. They're trying to grind out there, which is silly, do missions if your trying to grind xp, these static NPC spawns are basically free-for-alls.

Another game I used to play dealt with this is a pretty good way. First hitter gets x2 damage for exp and loot reasons. First hitter does 200 damage, 2ed hitter does 200 damage. First hitter would get 66% of the exp and the loot rights. If first hitter dies/leaves/whatever a new first hitting isn't assisgned until the mob leaves combat.
max 12k damage (single) every 6 seconds with a very good FT
rifleman
max 4k damage (area) every second with a T21 (not even mentionning T21's AP3 vs FT's AP0)
Carbineer/BH
max 4.5k/5k damage (single) every second with a dxr6 carbine AP2
Pikeman
max 5k area damage (area) every second with a good LVA
Pistoleer
max 2.5/3k damage (single/area) every second with a decent gun
TKM
max 3.5k damage (single) every second
etc.. etc..
can't get how you're not getting KS'd being a commando.
of course those stats are (for some profs) with speed tapes, wich aren't working for commando
I mastered every single combat profession in the game, including the hybrid ones like CH, smuggler, BH, CM etc...
the weakest in terms of damage output are
CH
Commando/FT
Fencer
Pistoleer
with any other prof and speed tapes you can get loots for most mobs if played right.
if I get accused of KSing, I usually propose to sort things with a duel, the dude usually refuses. if you can't beat me in 1vs1 (and I'm not an hardcore PvPer at all) then I can't see the reason why you should appropriate public spawns. (I don't go for other's missions). we're here or there for the same reason.
like this time I spent a week with a group in krayt graveyard, ranger, docs and damage dealers. and there was that TKA dude (not even sure he was master, anyway he had like no badges xcept maybe the TKM one) he was solo, we usually offered players to join the group and get in the loot queue we made, that one refused and tried to claim all spawns of krayt dragons, arguing that he was there before, since we were there since 4 or 5 days earlier.
he refused to duel any one of us, and he claim'd that he was going to report us. refused to join, of course and started the insult thing. I bet he didn't get a single loot that night.
and if a group shows up and outdamage us, then ok, we go away, and either do something else or get more people to outdamage em.
in Ft Tusken, u don't need a group but simply go with one or two friends, sort things as everyone agree to share the loots in a nice way, for example if the guy comes for some specific skill modded piece of clothing, let him have it if you get one, and sell/share the other loots. 2 combat masters in tusken fort can outdamage any solo player there, just make friends and get there to claim loot rights.
The ksers are the ones running around acting like they have to kill every mob, it is their zone, their mission, their loot, and their exp.
Ksing is never wanted, even by ksers strangley enuff. To add, clarity. The ksers i speak of, are ones, that weight for me to have agro (outside of group). Hurt the mob, but not enuff to get looting rights, then tear it up. Fairness, is the spirit, of all good games. I am asking here, not for justification for ksing, as some are trying to give, but tips on how to deal with them. Those who have replied with tips, I thank you.
