haha i'm not asking who has 80 badges. but thanks for pointing to your sig!

this guy is trying to figure how much time you need to spend.

if so he should include the time needed to get 80 badges - if indeed that is how many you need to unlock the village.

is that even offical?

we'll have to revisit this equation after the combat balance because most certainly the XP per hour ratewill drop, maybe by allot.

So basically, if you want to unlock as soon as possible, assuming you're starting from scratch, you need to do one full branch every 3 weeks.

That's 1,225,000 FS xp, which you get by converting 18,375,000 weapon xp and 1,837,500 combat xp,

Which, at 500,000 weapon and 50,000 combat xp per hour of grinding means 36.75 hours, or an average of 1.75 hours per day.

BUT, here's another approach, for people who are more patient, but want less grinding. Instead of getting 24 boxes by levelling all 4 boxes over 6 trees, you could level in 8 trees for 3 boxes each. This would increase the total time to unlocking by 6 weeks, but you'd need less xp. By eliminating the last 450xp box in each tree, you'd reduce the total FS xp needed from 7,350,000 to 6,200,000.

You'd only need to get 775,000 fs xp every 3 weeks, reducing your average daily grind to 1.1 hours.

Take it even one step further, you could spread it out over 12 trees (36 weeks), and just get the bottom 2 boxes. One easy way to do this would be to harvest while killing...to get scout xp to convert. This would not significanty increase the total grind time, but would reduce your daily grind a lot more.

You would need 5,100,000 total FS xp through the 12 tree x 2 approach. Since 8 of the 12 trees require combat/weapon xp, 3.4 million would come from killing stuff, and the other 1.7 million would come from harvesting the kills

Thats: 51 million weapon, 510 thousand combat, and17 million scout xp

Let's assume, then, that you can get 400,000 weapon/40,000 combat xp per hour, and at the same time, get 80,000 scout xp per hour by harvesting your kills. I think this ratiois about right for Rancor hunting, where you get about 5000 weapon xp per kill and about 1000 scout xp per harvest.

That comesout to about130 hours of grinding for the weapons and combat xp, which will also get you about 10 million of the scout xp. You can probably get the rest by running around with mask scent while you're hunting, so we'll write that off for the sake of simplicity. But let's round the 130 hours up to 150 to be fair.

So now we're talking about 150 hours over 36 weeks, or just a little over 4 hours per week to unlock in 8 months.

Not bad for a casual game, aye?

Maybe its just because I am sober, but this is not the "unlocking" phase of Jedi, this is the "Intiate" phase of the old system, which is now called "Force Sensitivity" & that people will still have to "unlock" & it has nothing to do with the Village....

So you can add a few weeks to your numbers for anyone starting from scratch .

Yes this is assuming you are ready for a visit from the old man....and you can start on the Phased quests. Reports indicate that there is not much to getting a visit though, other than gathering up a bunch of badges and maybe mastering one profession

I calculated that it would take 37 days if you traded in both 300,000 combat exp and 3,000,000 weapons exp every day for 6 branches. This is not including the quests you have to do.

Okay, but where is the "4 phases", "one line per phase", "phases will take several weeks each" , "6 phases it will take (granted you dont fail) you to become master sensitive"..

Alone the "6 phases" that you will have to successfully complete to obtain your force blocks (8 phases if you want to actually PICK which you get, instead of 1 per phase LOL, I bet no one has thought about that little Kicker !!!)

The Sensitivity Skills I want are 2from phase1,0 from phase 2, 2from phase 3 & 2 from phase 4 if they're in fact in the order given in the village informational story line & therefor I will be there for the 8 phases (@ least) to get them.

p.s. HOLOCREDITS = FULL BLOCKS OFSENSITIVITY & THEREFOR YOU ALL ARE WORRING ABOUT XP THAT WE"RE NOT GOING TO EVEN NEED

I've run out of other things to do in the game, so I've been doing some tests of my own. Basically I whent to see just how long it would take to cap exp. I did this in 2 methods. One was wandering around the wilds of advanced planets in high spawn areas. The second was running Janta/Mokk missions on Dantooine. What follows is my time estimation as the result of those tests. I surrendered master and just trained one of the 450k top boxes twice to clear my cap. I did this on my toon that was Master TK, Master Fencer. (I had to make several vists to people who trade/sell apprentice exp to do this). I count Weapon exp at a 1/15 ratio because that accounts for the combat exp you gain at the same time.

Goal based on village phases. 1 tree per phase.
----------------------------
1,225,000 FS exp / 21 days.
18,375,000 Wep Exp / 21 days.
875,000 Wep exp / day to keep up with the village.
In order to keep up with the village you need to cap 1 weapon exp type per day along with the associated combat exp.

Janta/Mokk missions(normal job market)
-------------------
30k avg Wep exp per set of missions
@ 5 sets of missions per brandy set(42 minute Brandies)
@ 4 brandy sets per buff session.
600k Wep exp, 1,000,000 credits, and some loot per buff session
31 buff sessions, or 1.4 buff sessions per day are required to keep up with the village.
You will earn 31,000,000 credits, and likly get 10 to 20 Saber crystals(color and power), per village phase.

Wandering around the Wilds
-------------------
Yavin IV = Capped 900k in 3 Brandy sets. Less then 1 buff session.
Dantooine = Capped 900k in 2 and a half Brandy sets. Less then 1 buff session.
Endor = Capped 900k in 1 and a half Brandy Sets. Should be able to cap both combat profs in 1 buff session.

At all 3 places you can keep up with village at 1 buff session per day(less if you have the ability to cap multiple weapon types). You just won't make any real cash while doing it.

My personal favorite is Endor. It really doesn't seem to matter what dirrection I walked it, I never ran out of stuff to kill. You need to avoid the area around 0,0 on Endor though. There are DWB spawns above ground. SBDs, Wraiths, and so on. They will flatten you.

Yavin is close to the same, tons of critters in close proximity, but a lot of the critters don't give good exp so it took a little longer to cap.

Dantooine was probably the dullest for me. While a lot of critters give good exp, the natural critter population is not as dense. I ran into a several barren patches with no spawns here. If you could find areas that didn't run out of critters, Dantooine would be very very fast.

You can disagree with my statement. Luckily, I control my accounts, not you. And they'll be going bye bye with static gating. It's a game mechanic I will not accept.
