Ok, now I'm confused. Do you need to complete 6 branches, or just get 24 boxes? Would 3 boxes in 8 different branches do the trick, or do you need to have 4x6?

Another suggestion I would have for grinding the exp, (granted I understand the new system correctly) is that you should craft/macro tents for your survival exp. This gives you the exp from scout harvesting, then turn those hides and bones into tents when you are running through the jungle/doing missions/waiting on stuff etc.

If I remember correctly, its a 5:1 for survivial exp, which is easily gained now that you can craft tents for the exp.

This is my lame sig - apparently html is too complex for this site.

Really? In the Jedi archives they stated 24 boxes but hey it makes sense... (Although if you don't want to grind as much you'd have to wait longer so thus would make sense also.)

I would rather grind out professions again and unlock via the old method.

The avg gamer is just going to play the game and convert unused xp as s/he gets it.
This is more for the avg grinder.

Nice thing about this system is you can just play the game and open, although it will take a long time.

or You can grind your little hart out.

For all you statisticians.....

Dont forget the good old Squad Leader profession!

Get TKM/SL and go to Ft Tuskan to grind away. You get combat xp, unarmed xp, and SL xp all in one....oh and the SL xp racks up fast as heck in a large grp! This alone will put a huge decrease in the time needed to gain the xp.

Just a quick thing. You get 1537 points of Scouting exp for harvesting, and 1537 points of Trapping exp per trapon Enraged Rancors.

haha i'm not asking who has 80 badges. but thanks for pointing to your sig!

this guy is trying to figure how much time you need to spend.

if so he should include the time needed to get 80 badges - if indeed that is how many you need to unlock the village.

is that even offical?

You don't need 80 badges. I got my visit from the stranger at 65 badges I believe.
