I have soloed the neutral destroy missonaround 25 or so times and only on a couple did door trick not work for elevator unlock and only once was armoury door locked. As for power plant dropping I find my average to get one is about 1 in every 3 trys.
I find the mission almost too easy to do now to the point I no longer need doc buffs at all. In fact I try and not even heal myself in the 6 mins it takes to complete. I would try for the thrill to do without armour as well but I know no way that I survive that hehe.
Btw if even anyone claims they can solo place without armour/doc buffsand not die me be thinking they are fibbing big time.
I have shown a couple my way of doing corvette and what to do to avoid dieing but so far they have not suceeded without dieing a couple times during mission. I am beginning to think now wookiees get innate defense from the fact, well at least me, are fur stinks real bad cause no way to groom ourseleves ingame. P
I solo the loot runs all the time with no armor, buffs or meds. I die ALOT. But I'm Teras Kasi, so I heal my wounds after I clone. I find buffs to be a waste of money since their guns will kill me in 1-2 shots whether I'm buffed or not. I don't wear armor because it's too expensive to waste on one corvette. If I got a guaranteed av-21 every run, it might be worth the extra credits for buffing and armor.

By the way, I haven't seen this information posted in this thread yet, but the beserker component for the beserker rifle needs to have a serial number for the weaponsmiths to be able to use it with the schematic. My understanding is that currently, none of the beserker components are dropping with serial numbers-I know the 4 or 5 I have do not have serials. You can read all about it on the weaponsmith boards by searching for beserker rifle. No one seems to know if the devs intend to fix this or not.

Anyone notice the Vette getting a little harder???
The other day I didn't have a whole lot of trouble getting the mission complete......lastnight.....I almost died on 2 of 3 runs.....maybe my armor is fading...heh...../sigh

Yeah, I died like a week ago doing the Destroy missions, that rarely happens. Then again, my boots are only 61% Energy and I got hit by some special that took off like 1.5k or more right there, hehe. I had already hit all the loot points though, so I just got rid of my wounds and hit the escape pods. No use in suffering decay for a lousy AV-21 Schem...

Thanks to all for a great guide.
TKM 0040, Novice Medic, Master Weaponsmith, base 60ish suit, with 80% energy chestplate and pants. Pretty inadequate combat template, but I still soloed the destroy mission on the second try. (Albeit with the aid of doc/dancer buffs, food, and spice.)
For folks new to the 'vette, here are the mistakes I made and the lessons I learned. Apart from reading the guide, I'd never even seen the inside of the vette, and soloed the destroy mission on the second try. It's doable, even if your template is far from uber.
First attempt: Mission Failure, 2/4 loot points hit. About 2/3 through, I mashed the stim button. Accidentally hit an AoE attack next to it. Regretted it. Also regretted attempting to zerg the last location. Came back in my underwear and made an entertainer very happy with 1000 BF and full black bars.
Second attempt: Mission Success, 3/4 loot points hit. Made one mistake -- not writing down (on dead tree) the door codes. I had to backtrack to reget the codes, which cost me time (food expiry) and damage (random aggro). Died after SBDs aggroed on me in the Armory - I had the Berserker rifle schematic visible, but it became nontransferrable because I died before I could grab it. Zerged the armory for the schematic three times, and (because I lack meditation to heal myself) eventually gave up before my wounds got to the point where I couldn't make it to the escape pods. Hit the eject and made it home with only the (still borked) stabilizer component, but still felt pretty good about the evening.
Lessons: If you have AoE attacks, remove them from the toolbar before you start. Eat some food (synthsteak, brandy) 10-15 minutes before going up, so that your stomach is nearly empty when you zone in. If you die, you'll be in better shape for at least one zerg attempt. Write down the codes on a dead tree in case you have to punch them in by hand, because scrolling back is not an option.
Questions: Because my stomach's still full upon cloning, I have trouble wedging down enough mindfood to go with a pixie for a zerg rush. (Or a HAMfood with a Muon, and spamming CoB and heals on myself). I'm currently using Brandy/Canape/Muon/Pixie. It appears that "not getting hit" is more important than the ability to survive hits (PSGs don't last more than a couple of shots, Synthsteak is gone in a minute): to that end, should I be using my limited stomach space for other defensive food options (e.g. dodge) instead?
