well, to get the lok theme music you have to extract it from the tre file using a tre extractor which i cannot mention on the forums

the Lok theme music is also the funeral music from Episode 1 I believe so you might want to check your Cds to see if you have that

Awesome post, HOWEVER, until a red name says this is DEFINATLY not a violation, I'm not touching the game files.

Unfortunately, it will never happen. Running 2 instances of SWG on one computer causes you to do the same thing and they know about it, but have never officially said it is right.
Try it out and if a Red name says it's wrong, I'll be with you in removing it![]()

i wouldnt worry about it,
there have been 8 pages of replys over 2 months with near40 5 star ratings and they havent done anything, so if it was illegal they would have taken this post down a long time ago

Todd Davies did say some time ago that he had 20+ music tracks waiting to be tied to the game, I wouldnt be surpised if they got in with the CU or the Expansion

hi, just tried out this music thing and it ain't working, this is what I've done:
created a folder called 'Music' in:
- C:/Program Files/StarWars Galaxies/
Put an MP3 called ImperialMarch.mp3 into the new folder
Named the mp3 to 'mus_combat_c_lp'
I can't find the original files to the starwars galaxies music and I have no folder with any music files in them. I logged in and I still get the original battle song. So what am I doing wrong that it doesn't work?

try a different name, I couldn't get it to word so tried renaming it to a different name provided, still no luck so basically what I did was make multiple copies of same track, and naming them one of each type, for example:
mus_player_v_creat_c_lp.mp3
mus_player_v_npc_c_lp.mp3
mus_combat_c_lp.mp3
mus_player_v_player_c_lp.mp3
It now plays choosen track. Not 100% sure which one is actually working, haven't gotten round to narrowing it down!
mus_player_v_creat_c_lp.mp3
mus_player_v_npc_c_lp.mp3
mus_combat_c_lp.mp3
mus_player_v_player_c_lp.mp3
It now plays choosen track. Not 100% sure which one is actually working, haven't gotten round to narrowing it down!

it chooses the combat music at random so if you want only 1 song to play you need to replace all 12 lp combat music files
