Nice post, something upbeat for a change (no pun intended:smileyhappy
I did notice they have new music playing on the tc for combat revamp, but Ilike the idea of having my favorite tunes in game, maybe it will help with this boring jedi grind..

Does anyone know the names of the files for the new combat music? Some of the old ones work, but now that they changed the music I think they may have changed the names on them.

Ok, when I do this the older songs (original combat music) plays when a creature or player attacks me, however, when I attack them the songs I listed play instead.
I want to completely get rid of the old normal SWG combat music? Did I do something wrong, cause I put the music files exactly, putting b and c in place of the a. Have a total of 12 files in a folder named music.
Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue but I think the CU changed the names of the files and since I don't have a .tre file extractor, I can't give the exact answer. I will try though.

Well yes your are violating the EULA... You still are using third party software. Copying files is still using an underwritten executable to actually copy the file in to the directory, you know part of windoze. This is Third Party Software that wasn't created by Sony. I do think it's really intended for the purpose of game hacking. To legally give sony the right to terminate your account and keep your money. Such as changing the files such as a exe,tre or dll file to allow your character say 5000 skill points... increased HAM etc. But I think showing up with 250 Combat level would be a dead give away... and would more likely cause your game to crash.
And it does say to change game play... even though you aren't changing the way the game itself plays... playing different music would technically be changing game play. The music is as intended for the way the game is suppose to play.
Why you reading through game files? LOL

Well, technically you're not changing any of the files. They're still the same as before, and still play the same songs. All you're doing is adding more of a selection to the soundtrack of SWG.
I don't believe it'll get you in trouble into one of two things happen. Either A. I do get banned or B. A name in RED says it's illegal. (dev)

Would be better if SOE made something like a tool to make this easier.
I give up on it, im not deleteing files I don't know what might happen. Some people can some people can't. Tell me when SOE kinda wants to help out in this one.

I'd like to know where the files for Jabba's palace are stored, so I can finally fix the overlapping music issue

Double check the walkthru for doing this. You don't have to delete ANY files. You just add files.
