Is it required to manually punch in the codes to the bridge elevator and the armory door or is it simply enough that they were downloaded from the appropriate terminals?

You do Defenitly still need to punch in the Bridge Code Manually, the Armory Code however, is sometimes unnecassary, as (like the elevator unlocking room door) the Armory is sometimes alreayd opened for you

I've never really seen this asked or mentioned very much, but how much trouble is it to get the tickets? Those places, at least to me, don't seem solo'able.

Dont take this the wrong way. Honestly If you are not comfortable with your build to solo the ticket locations then you would be really wasting your time and equipment on the corvette. This is not a flame at all just a fact. Any one mob on the corvette is more difficult then ALL the mobs combined at the ticket waypoints. with the exception of maybe the nightsisters and for that you dont really have to fight any thing.

One item of interest as of this morning, when I went to the droid engineer cave to look for evidence, the droidekas are back. I burst run to the storage, then died after getting the stupid research request because the last 3 or 4 times I went the cave was completely empty so I didn't bother with armor. FYI.

Thanks again to the author for posting this information. It helped me tocomplete the rescue mission on just my 3rd attempt, and successfully loot all 4 loot spots the very next time.

If I understand your question, as far as I know you have to actually punch the codes into the keypad. One note, as I have died several times as I have the keypad window open: I have been allowed to keep the window open as I clone, then I punch in the code and unlock the door from the safety of the starting area.

I tried the Imp Rescue mission for the first time with some guildies a few days after Pub 10. It was the first time I did it, it was cake. I did notice a couple things. First of all, walking on the first floor DID NOT draw any agro's. I couldn't draw any agro's on the 2nd floor no matter how hard I tried (running around SBD's even), so I attacked one of the soldiers before hitting the elevator to go back down. Also, I noticed that the SBD's in the engine room STILL don't agro you if you have agro from the 2nd floor. Anyway, I just waited outside the prison door, got killed, used my Mark of the Hero (while a Reb NPC was standing right next to me, he didn't seem to care that I was alive again), and talked to the prisoners. I got incapped a few times on the way to the escape pod, but no worries, I got my badge, schematic, and looted a powerplant up there.

Here's what I do in preparation for the Corvette:

Get buffed (including entertainer buffs, at least secondaries)

Wear about 80% energy comp

Drink 2 brandy (+425's)

Eat 1 Synthsteak, 1 Ahrisa, 1 Canape

Meditate and Powerboost

Down a Muon after about 1 minute of running around

Have /healdamage self hotkeyed to use Stim C's when needed

I'm usually done with the Vette by the time my PB / Muon / Canape runs out.

I've posted to this thread before about how I was struggling to complete the corvette. Was just getting way too much aggro that I couldn't handle.

Well tongiht and I've finally gone and done it! I had only been attempting the rebel destroy mission up until this point, but doing one of them in the manner that I did tells me I'm on the right path.

I followed the advice above almost exactly with the buffs etc, except I had Stim B's hot keyed.

And it totally worked. Thanks MadAdder3 - sound words indeed.

I took 3 guildmates up with me - 2 of which had done it before and the 3 of us were in team speak. These guys had helped me a lot on other attempts, almost getting there, but not quite. Now considering I had been up with these guys before and we struggled, they were astounded when they saw me running through the whole thing. They didn't have to do a thing, except they died a few times when I dragged a few aggroed stormies with me back towards them.

10mins it took me to run through it (not a single bit of walking), loot 3 chests and get to the escape pod. I amazed even myself. The door trick in the meeting room worked like a charm again. Didn't get attacked at all going through the battle droid room to change the fuel intake.

I've got to say, even though I was going through a lot of hardship trying to do these missions, I'm glad I persevered; it was a hell of a lot of fun. I'm now all set to do the rescue and assassinate missions - as soon as some of my guildies get their master commando badges

I can do the destory mission in 10 minutes with some crappy 60% base armor and like 2400 buffs. I can do the whole thing without taking very much damage at all. The rescue I could probably do in 10 minutes also but don't know it by heart.

It was happening to me as well - until last night.

For one thing, stun armour is not what you want - you want resists to Energy and Kinetic (mostly energy). My last trip I used 80% special protection armour and it didthe job. The PSG is obviously of little use to you if it don't have energy and kinetic resists.

I would recommend getting clothing/equipment that has ranged defence. I brought up a Spec Ops backpack (ranged defense +3) and a really crappy DL-44 with ranged defense +6 and that can't but have helped.

I alsorecommend running the whole way and don't bother with the walking. I brought somemates with me. On my successfuldestroyattempt, 4 of us went up.I drew a lot of aggro running to the upper level and then back down to the computer room to retrieve the codes. When I got back to the starting level, I feigned death (master smuggler/TKM) and they got the aggro drawn on them. When that happened, there were 5 stormtroopers in the cloning station

apart from that, pick up novice medic so you can also heal youself and don't forget to get full entertainer buffs. That for me definitely seemed to do the trick.

I have tried the meeting room trick without getting the cods from the SBD room a few times now and have never been able to target the terminal to unlock the elevator.

I stand on the opposite side of the door from the keypad, right at the corner of the door. The door never opens and like I said, can't target anything inside.

Any tips? What am I missing?

First, if the door doesn't open when you walk past it, I don't think this trick will work. A couple of times when I have gone up, the door doesn't open and that's when you will have to get the codes.

Now, if the door does open, walk until your body is in the middle of the door frame but not in the room (they can't see you yet). Zoom all the way out and look to the right, you should be able to see just a sliver of the terminal, and if you are far enough into the door frame, you will be able to use it. If you still can't see the object but the door is open, scoot up just a bit until you can use it. This has worked for me every time the door opens.

okay. so now I know if the door doesn't open when I walk by not to waste my time trying to get it to open.

I will keep plugging away. Unlucky so far I guess...

Thanks

Only thing I've found so far is either ring, or go up with at least one other person and have one guy draw all the aggros to allow the other to get to the cell and peace and converse.
