Nope. This was to facilitate the fact that after the CU, certain parts of the galaxy were much more dangerous than before. People needed an easier way to move to move their houses "as-is" and not have to redecorate. Plus its a neat feature

Just one thing to be sure to think about TH. If we pack up our house and are still using the lot space, lets be sure that we have a "reserve" on our old spot just in case we cant find a better place for our homes.


Would hate to pack it up and then find that there actually isnt any space in my town or in the place I want to relocate to.Then someone snags my old spotwhile im looking.

Can't wait for this to get implemented.


Let's hope this is the start for the character purge. They can pack up all canceled accounts into the persons D-pad.


If they do that, the lag will probably be 10 times better than it is now.

So, is this what happened to my house that mysteriously disappeared a couple weeks ago? Did it get rolled up? The CSR response was that houses don't just disappear and then one called me a liar for reporting it and anonymously closed my ticket. I lost a lot of stuff and basically got told to go f myself by support.

Awesome, can't wait until this happens to other people so they can get the total SWG experience, too.

My thoughts exactly. I see potential problems here, like with being able to bring out more then 1 pet at a time by spamming the /call button on a pet.

Several places it was suggested that mayors should be able to move citizens' structures.


This is fine by me IF I get a chance to say heeeeeeeeeeell no, and that chance should last at least a week, before the mayor gets the go-ahead.

If I don't decline within a week(..), the mayor gets the permission to move my house.


I would hate to see some terrorizing mayor moving people's houses around for their own amusement.

I wont use this feature for weeks after it goes live becuse you know they will mess it up. I dont want to have to beg csr to get my stuff back and hear there lame reason on why I cant be helped/

House packup is for player houses only...




So that would mean a cantina, medical center, and some/most guild halls should be able to be packed up as well. While not all guild halls are used as player housing there is no other role a cantina or medical center can play. It is a unique home that select professions can place in select conditions, but still it is a home. If that wasn't the case then these would tax even more maintenance from city hall, cost 0 lots, and be destroyed with the city.

IMO, **all** player placed, non-municipalstructures should be able to be packed up, with the stipulation that you cannot pack what you cannot place, such as denying an owner who has since dropped ent from packing their cantina.


Factories, guildhalls, merchant tents, harvestors, are all potentially suffering from the same "post-CU CL" issue, and regardless, migrant buildings like this is simply an awsome feature.


Moving an entire merchant tent from place to place, then dropping, emptying, and selling the contents of a storage house on a new vendor, picking the tent back up when the area is no longer popular after moving the vendor's contents to the storehouse and removing vendor... it'd be like a traveling bazzar! Get enough people together for this, and I bet a guild of merchants could quickly and easily keep a nomadic bazzar going from city to city, every week a new spot!

Everything should work as normal.


The house should deduct maintenance until you are out ofcredits. When you are out of credits, the structure is condemned until you pay the maintenance. The items in the house count towards the house inventory.


I'm guessing, but I would say that the house counts as 1 item on your datapad.

Here's an idea. Try to find a buddy to put a house into your spot until you're replaced, if you are that worried about it. Shouldn't be too hard to do. They could also reserve spots for you in the same way.
