Thread: Tuesday Tips May 24th Stopping Shot
Snares, roots and knockdowns can really help to destroy a melee mob faster. With snares from rifle, carb etc you can kite a mob all you wish with no damage done to anyone in the group.

Kurt,
Any word about the +ROOT+ that are being exploited? Or is it working as intended that players can use them to keep others perma rooted? I was also reading that damage should break a root? Is this true?
They can't run for a few seonds which gives you the time to move out of their range and stay within rifle range (over 50m should do the trick). Combined with root this is very effective.
Carbineer's have a pretty cool combonation of abilities.
First is Charge Shot. The target falls over and stays down for a round.
Second is Crippling Shot. Kinda like rifleman Kneecap shot in that the target goes slow for the duration.
If the target is a melee fighter, then this helps because Carbineers are good at firing on the move.
Funny... Carbineers were once considered to be the most useless and overgimped people in the game. Now we can own pretty much anything without taking a hit.
NERF ROOT!!
The 40 second root in smuggler is insane. Give people the ability to either break free from a root using a special, foods/spice that resist/decrease theduration, ora timer on the player that makes them not able to be rooted for X period of time. Like the old KD timer.

my tip combine the root from 3 bhpistoleers using rifles at 60m+ to grief melee types so they have no chance to fight back. when root #1 disapates have person 2 land theirs. when that goes have #3 do his. by the time #3 is done the timer on #1 is reset and in this manner BH can grief the hell out of jedi and the jedi has no means of fighting back since cure states doesnt remove the root state.
good job on +root+ kinda defeats the purpose of the CU without the chance for people to be able to fight back

two riflemen, root, snare other riflemen roots and snares, etc keep doing it, can solo krayts in fact i can solo all but giants and giant canyons already with ease. as can my rifleman friend. however they are upping krayt difficulty which is good IMO
just wanted to point out that your illustration doesnt meet the definition of SOLO... you have 2 people. There is nothing solo about it.
