Thread: My idea for a new way to unlock jedi... DEVS, PLEASE READ!!
Ok, here are the ship missions.
Multi-passenger.
The two multi passenger ships are the Ebon hawk and the Sith infiltrator.
Ebon hawk-The ship you loved from KOTOR, is somwhere on correllia, now it is owned by some smuggler. To get it, you must travel from the light enclave to corellia and do a themepark for the smuggler till you get to the part where you kill the smuggler and must escape.
Sith Infiltrator- A forgotten ship from Episode I. To get this ship, travel from the Dark enclave to Naboo, do a couple quests that lead into the hanger in theed (The place where Maul shows up at the end of TPM) until you come to a courtyard with a junk pile. Loot the pile to gain the deed. Then escape before the RSF try to kill you.
Jedi Fighter- The first type from episode II. To get it, travel from light enclave to tattooine, and go to eisly, from there, do a themepark and head to Obi-Wans house, and then open a closet to get the deed to his old fighter.
Sith fighter- The fighters that you had to fight off from the Ebon Hawk in KOTOR. To get it, travel from the dark enclave to Exear-Kuns temple, do a themepark, go to the ruins on danttooine, and find the deed.
These are just small sketches
very bad idea.
this would NOT make it harder to get jedi.. only easier. because then people would only have to call in their jedi deathsquad pals and annhilate a 2 week themepark in 24hrs. (i did the same with rebel and jabba and nym.. all completed in a 24hr period solo)
as it stands the village is the best way to filter out the riff raff that just wanna be 1337 (and even then it doesnt work) and the people that truly want to become a force user. i myself have wanted to be a jedi since i saw the first starwars and this is exactly how i would have imagined it.
as for darth vader destroying the village. im sorry but if the nightsisters cant get into the village because of the mist. vader wouldnt have a chance. those ladies are pure evil. vader and palpatine are just evil light
It's a really good idea, BUT BUT BUT, it's got to take a long time to discourage would be jedi from just banging out the quests in a couple weeks and unlocking. But with some work it could definately be something to work with.

Here is my idea..
yes, the way to become FS with the badges'll be the same.
The Force Sensitive imperial spies have discovered the village and have ratted them out. A seige takes place led by DV and the village is no more..
After FS will get a mail telling them the village has been annialated and have to meet up with the old man. They meet the Old Man in a small hut on tattooine and this is the start to the jedi themepark, and relies on one thing.. Choice
The old man sends you on a short themepark, talking to people across the galaxy and will be doing things for them. You have a Choice on each person on which each one tells which side of the force you will be serving. if you do a good deed, you earn light side points, do somthing bad will earn you dark side points (like KOTOR) Once you finish this themepark, and get enough either light or darkside points, either a light jedi or dark jedi will come to meet you (much like the old man does) and will send you to either the light or dark enclave. Once there, it will be a long themepark. The first quest is prove yourself to the gaurds outside the gate. youd have to go destroy a enemy camp of the opposing enclave. after this, the reward is getting granted acces to the enclave. You must then talk to another jedi which will send you on a mission to show him your skills with the melee weapon you choose. If you have more skills in polearm, you get double bladed, if you have more skills in fencer, you will get one handed, etc. You must go kill a specific random ananimal and bring him evidence that youve killed it. The reward for this will be a lightsaber crafting toolkit. The next quest is to gather ingeridiants for your saber. The reward for this will be given access to more of the enclave and the ability to craft a lightsaber. the next jedi will give you a quest to show him your skills with a lightsaber, and go kill a randome creature and bring him its head. Next you must challenge an opposing enclave jedi in a duel, once you win you recive your enclave robes. Now if you have done enough deeds evil or good, you will recive the title of padawan! and gain more access. AFter this you must persuade a young student of your enclave that had ran off to join to opposing one, to come back with you. After this you recive several abilities, and a new emote that allows you to wave your hand. You also recive a padawan cloak. You now will be given the ability to choose your master ( a Player character)
Soon you might go to a jedi hanger, and must do several simple quests and will be rewarded the old jedi starfighter
Oh and there would be another quest that would be on force powers light force push and stuff
This is just my idea, tell me if ya like it or not... I hope that the Devs read this!

In my opinion, a quest based syetem will be great in the beginning, but after a while will be just as bad, or possibly worse than the current system.
It is a good idea in theory, but I think in practice, not so good.
The idea of gaining Light or Dark experience is intriguing. That I think should be worked into the game.

seriously. every bounty hunter in game already CAN find the jedi. ever look at a bountyhunter mission terminal?
instead of making it harder for jedi to exist. this would not only create more but put more immediately back into the GCW as soon as they where finished the jedi themepark

Light jedi will only attack dark jedi, imps'll attack only rebs. They're in their OWN war now
If a jedi of any kind shows himself, his name'll be red to all BH and imps

1. I have NEVER seen DV activate his saber out in public goin: Ill pwns joo! or stuff like that, no... he just stands there, breathing and givin' missions...

) I compare the Force is the the T-virus... The Jedi are like the zombies... in other words... THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!
