Gawau. Servers change phases ONLY on a server reset. That also includes if the server crashes and restarts. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday of every week they manually restart all servers though so aside from server crash, those are the 3 days when server will change phases. It will also happen if they time a patch perfectly.

its pretty funny 3 days in now and they dont even take the time to respond to tell us maybe there working on it or some thing like that. thisis rediculous. maybe there on holiday. or maybe they dont care about the village. any one else have a problem where when you first came they didnt tell you you had a free unlock and you screwed it up and used it on the wrong thing. they dont even care i looked through all of the spatial chat and no where does it hint about unlocking even if its not using those words. it says nothing. i wasted it on combat when i could haveused it for crafting. but the real problem here is the lack of ability to get the phase for combat prowless

Me and a friend did melee def last phase 4 and we both did ranged speed 2 day but i saw some guys cant do it i dunno wat it is that make some pplz can do the quest and some not

i did ranged speed last phase 4 and can't do mele defense this time

Yeah this sucks I talked with CSR Elijaho and he told me the dev are working on it... however he could not give me any info other then the Same response as always "Sorry we can't help" he just took some info and said he will give it to them as this does not seem to be affecting everyone... Don't think so... I too took the Ranged Speed quest from the Captin Last time village was in phase 4 and this this time need the melee defense... Told to get some R&R as though I have taken and completed a quest this phase which btw Nartius is in Phase 4 as of today... he also told me that they hope to have it taken care of before the phase ends... But not sure.. When asked what do they plan to do for those of us who need this and thus would also unlock this phase.. I was told again he doesn't know.. I would like to add that Elijaho is a very good CSR as to respond with as much info as he can and very fast as well...

I am sorry, Chefgenius. NOWHERE did it say it you did one of the Captains missions the PREVIOUS phase 4, that you couldnt do his other mission the following phase 4. NOWHERE.

This one doesnt affect me in the least. But it affecting people on my server.

Plain and simple, If you did Ranged speed 12 weeks ago during the previous Phase 4, you are unable to take a DIFFERENT mission this phase from the same NPC, namely melee defense. If they were not going to be able to do that right, they should have had the missions come from a different NPC.

So you are telling me that people who got free unlocks are able to take, Melee Defense and Ranged Speed? But people who did the quests and did the grind for the exp are out of luck? That sounds like a typical CSR response.

The likely problem is that the CSR don't have a single clue what is going on, and send canned responses unrelated to the details the player put in the report.

This likely will be resolved this coming week. I will be glad to help any and all players who are stuck doing this mission later in the phase when there aren't masses of players in the village. We will get a huge team together to deal with the Thugs. Keep pressuring the Devs for a response. You have to say it about 300 times before the light comes on.

At least there's a BIT of hope for me ... I'm about to do Heightened Senses, and if it went both ways, ONLY people new to the Village would bother right now. That would be 3, maybe all 4, of the quests messed up by this bug: RS - not bugged (hopefully), MD - bugged if after RS, Healing - if the bugged people aren't there, who IS there to heal?, Crafting - no loots would mean sky-high prices on what's left (more so than now).
