"The command /checkforcestatus (/che for short) will allow you to determine your progress. It indicates your current level of Force Sensitivity which will increase as you obtain new badges. The levels of force sensitivity are [note I didn't have these all handy so I will have to fill them out completely later]:

  • You feel no connection with the force. <--- you get this at start

  • You barely notice something different about yourself. <---after 5 badges

  • You feel a faint sense of the force. <---- What do you need to get this

  • You feel the Force surge within you. <---- what do you need to get this

  • You have a strong sense of the Force within you. <--- same as 2 and 3

  • You feel an inner glow. The Force is with you. <----- Same as 2 and 3

how many and what else do you need to have done?

I believe captialization is important, just do /che, but the correct form is /checkForceStatus...

It also won't work if they're not on TC/TC2.

And actually, I think I did the command without capitalization on TC. Hmm. I should test that!

so you have to change proffessions to do the healing, crafting, reflex, combat lines? am i wrong here i am confused. you need to do all 4 and would have to switch prof's to do this correct? so go there as a rifleman we'll say, then as a crafter, then back as a doc?

There are 8 total combat branches. So you could do all the combat branches with one combat profession, a total of 32 boxes (you only need 24). You can't do all crafting, all medic, etc., however. There are only 16 craftinb boxes and 16 boxes that have to do with "sense" xps or dancing, scouting, slicing, healing, etc.

I just updated several things in the guide -- still waiting on some details of some of the quest rewards and I haven't put in all the changes I have, just what I had time to do.

how many complete branches do you need to do? wouldnt it be easier/faster if you did 12 branches halfway instead of 6 branches fully?

This morning I was doing the phase 2- Search and Destroy missions at TC2. It seems that at least now at TC2 those Sith Outlaws, Pirates & Shadow Taskmaster drop the resource containers which are also obtained at survey quests. I was able to loot total of 42 of these containers (Ostrine Ore, Endrine Ore, Ardanium II Energy, Wind Crystal Energy, Rudic Ore). This change at least would be positive to crafters looking for the resources to complete the quest - Anyhow, it would be nice if someone else could confirm this as well.

thank you for condensing the available information into a single post - I had been on vacation for four weeks and felt kind of lost when I returned: I have simply not been able to grasp what the upcoming patch is about. After having read your thread I feel like I know... Five stars!

Isnt scout xp suposed to give reflex fs now? I mean the scout boxes are in reflexes but it says scout xp gives senses fs. Is this a bug?

It is believed firmly at this time that the correct path is obtaining badges. You will need to obtain a certain set of badges and finally the Old Man will visit you. Many badges seem important: theme parks, POI's, the Corvette badges and even perhaps racetracks. There has been speculation however that certain badges may weigh particularly high such as the Jedi-related POI badges. There may also be some other requirements such as mastery of an elite profession. There is no known shortest path but in general: when in doubt, get more badges

that would be so stupid if they do that, i mean first you have to dance your ass off and make armor to get force sensitive and now we have to go and see pretty places , it makes absolutely no sence at all....

Where does Merchant XP fall? Senses or crafting? What is the current conversion ratio?
Also, Slicing XP is missing. If these are currently unavailable options, please note this in section 4.

In regards to converting XP, I am a bit confused, so I have a question: Is it unsed XP or XP that we have already "invested" in other profession skill boxes, ie. If I have mastered pistoleer, I would have a lot of Pistol xp points invested/used to become Master Pistoleer, yet wouldn't have any that wasn't already being used by the pistol tree? Basically am I better off not leveling up and storing available xp or will it allow me to take the XP from already trained skills in other professions.
