Exactly what I did. He walked up to me while I was powerboosting between killing Rebels at a HQ. Just play the game, he will spawn regardless. The sticky guide is still great though...

I read the sticky that says the old man won't be near npc cities but what about player ones do i need to be all the way out in BFE fo r him to show up?

They will appear in player cities. That's whereI met him both times.

yes, he does come to player cities, he came to me right next to my house

You know whats better my server will be down tommorow too.... And whats even better is that my server is comming down as we speak. Ahead of schedule.. I mean why bring it down now.. when ur gonna bring it down again in a few hours...

Indeed the waiting sux, and my server goes down Wed 12pm pst.
How do we go from having a downtime of 3hrs to 28hrs, or possibly more?

is that ur second or first visit coz if its ur first u got to do all 6 phases first which takes months and months lol coz of phase shifting lol just thought i would ask

I'm waiting for my second visit, it's been 34hrs since I completed 6 lines...and all I hear in my head is "tick , tock, tick, tock..."
damn the CU - no one wants it anyway!!!

Seems to vary from like 12-48hrs or more.
Got my visit less then 30mins of being online this morning. Now I just need a group to take them down.
