Each village time lasts for an exact amount of on line seconds, which is different for each server. The next phase activates with the first reset after that number of seconds is up. So yes, and unexpected crash can trigger it, but the other player is right too: barring unexpected server-downs, the phases canonly change on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the scheduled reset days.

He's lying. The only way he could have unlocked both is through a hologrind free unlock. I started the village on the very first day of the very first time phase 1 was around and this is the 2nd time phase 4 has hit. So yeah unless its a free unlock from hologrind, hes lying.

He is not lying as i and many others have been able to unlock bouth, and i was not playing when you could do the holo grind, so get your facts straight.
But i agree there is a problem with this quest asa lot of my friends have found out and it apears to be dependent on which tree you unlocked the first time round.

Sorry the previous cycle part is wrong as this is only the second time its come around. What i ment was that i unlocked the second tree today, and now have bouth unlocked.

If you did both already one was a free unlock. Using a free unlock does not seem to cause this issue.

Hmm? Are just certain ppl bugged or what? I did melee defense last phase 4, and i got the mission for ranged speed this time without incident!!

I'm on Bria and did Melee Defnse last cycle and was able to do Ranged Speed with no problems this time although this time I recieved a reward (part of the scuplture) and last time I did not, and yes I did complete the quest last time
