the only ones I really wanted to get were skills from reflexes, and combat, the melee and ranged defense, melee accuracy, and speed, I got survival because I did whips quests, so I guess that would leave me whichever I guess for the last one, whatever will get me the quickest route

yeah, I'm going to go jedi, but according to this guide, if you pick skills in the right order depending on how many unlocks you have you can shorten the time its takes, I'm worried now, I thought maybe I'd be able to finish them in less time

What i was trying to say was if you unocked 2 alread or however many you can do one in each phase..no matter what it is....so then in 4 phases you have 6. BAM!!! initiate. doesnt matter which ones they are...just get 6 total...one per cycle. yeah i know some are easier than others to get the xp for.....but if you did strictly combat xp required boxes and you unlocked two of them you should still be ok since there is 8 total of the combat types.

I just sorta figured there was some kind of catch in it, where if I did a phase 4 tree with my free unlock, by the time phase 4 hit, I would've been finished because I had gotten that tree, I think I'm wrong lol

Okay, let's see...

Village Phase 1: Enhanced Reflexes: Survival

Village Phase 2:Combat Prowess: Melee Speed

Village Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy

Village Phase 3: Enhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense

Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense

Okay, you have or want the above... sadly two are in Phase 3, so you will have to wait til Phase 3 comes around a second time to get the second skill. This means you added at least nine weeks onto your wait for Jedi Initiate.

Your sixth and final branch should be one from Phase 1 or 2, so pick one of the following:

Village Phase 1: Combat Prowess: Ranged Accuracy

Village Phase 1: Heightened Senses: Persuasion

Village Phase 1: Crafting Mastery: Assembly

Village Phase 2: Enhanced Reflexes: Vehicular Control

Village Phase 2: Heightened Senses: Luck

Village Phase 2: Crafting Mastery: Crafting Techniques

This will ensure that you don't wait another 3 weeks for Phase 4 to come a second time.

I'll grind it whatever the time, I want to play a jedi, and SOE got me hooked so theres no turning back now, maybe somehow I'll luck out and figure a way to do it and cut my time back a bit, doesn't really matter which boxes I take, I'll still be alright to do the quests as TKM with some doc skills

looking at that all over, either way I went with unlocking my free branch I'd have had to wait again for another cycle, because 2 phases have 2 skills trees, I only had one free unlock

I don't see it listed in your guide (or posted by anyone else here, unless I'm just blind), so I'll have to assume that the xp needed for each box in each branch is the same as for most elite professions (175k + 250k + 350k + 450k = ~1.2 million xp). Is that correct? If so, you might want to add that as well. The more information, the better.

I've tried looking this up but can't find any info. Grateful if anyone could provide me with an answer.

I want to only go as far as I need to unlock my 2nd character slot, and to keep my main as a FS enhanced crafter, using my new character as combat.

How many SP does it take to get to the 2nd character unlock level, infact can I do this at all and still keep 'normal' profs?

You need 24 skill points worth of boxes (24 boxes, in other words) to unlock. Is that what you wanted to know?

Yes thanks. So, I can use 24 skill points on my main..... unlock and get the 2nd character. Then with the main I will have 226 skill points left to use on crafting profs/merchant, as I hate PvP and don't want a fighting Jedi. The new character slot will be my PvE combat toon.

Is that right?

But I gained enough xp and converted it to train a box, but it wont let me train the box, says I am not up to the point where he can teach me yet? I don't understand this part. Why can't I train a box if I have made the correct xp and the box shows green?
