You must do the Quest to unlock that branch before you can train in it.

I swear that last night BH exp was 1 to 1. i dont have access to my machine atm but you might want to check.

Yes thanks. So, I can use 24 skill points on my main..... unlock and get the 2nd character. Then with the main I will have 226 skill points left to use on crafting profs/merchant, as I hate PvP and don't want a fighting Jedi. The new character slot will be my PvE combat toon.
Is that right?

I am so lucky, I didnt read this guide before going to the village and I just unlocked 4 trees without thinking about what I was doing. After reading the guide I have realised that I can get all 6 trees in Phase 2 as I am currently working on Ranged accuracy.
The funny thing is the author of this thread is my guild leader and we didnt even talk about this

hmm if id have to choose post off the month this is it
accurate info!!! i taught it out almost the same way u even made a few glitches in my head walk out smooth 
maybe one thing if u could help me with it... I had 4 free branch unlocks i only need to wait one quest phase.. But i wanna grind alot a exp!! and i do mean ALOT.
Do u know a way to grind alot a exp as an elite combat profession?? (easy that is) I mean when u do'nt have to do alot... The fastest way i got is get buffed rush to the geo cave and at a good spawning place keep kiling stuff there... Travelling annoys me. like go to dantooine get a group and doo huurtons. GOOD EXP but boring as hell
I'd sell my soul for a lil info on this... If anyone could plz help me id be forever greatfull

just a note, its not that we only are able to do one per phase, its a bug, already made a ticket, they said it was a know issue, and will be fixed soon

This may sound like a noob question, but here goes anyway...
So in order to become a Jedi Initiate you fill in your 6 branches. Is this an automatic title given or is there a quest like the Padawan Trials in order to become an Initiate?

You must become a Jedi initiate, completing six branches,before you earn the title.

This is also a bit of a noob question, apologies in advance...
I went to the village without reading this guide and I think I may have done something stupid;
What I wanted to do is;
Melee Accuracy
Melee Speed
Ranged Defence
Melee Defence
Survival
Healing
However, I did the quest from Captain Sarguillo and once completeI saw a message about being able to doing Ranged Accuracy, which I am not after. However the Combat Prowess tree is open.
Have I gone and been too hasty, bearing in mind that I am not too worried about the length of time it will take to become a Jedi initiate, as I have no free unlocks.
Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

I took Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, and Luck as my three holocredits. I want to do Melee Accuracy and Melee Speed (I am a TKM/MSmuggler) and I haven't decided on the 6th.
Recommendations for a 6th FS skill that would lead well into Jedi Initiate?

Great guide, thanks for the work and updates! Just had a question I hope someone can help with because I think I've hit a wall.
I had 5 free unlocks, and desired the following: Ranged Acc - Ranged Spd - Melee Acc - Melee Spd - Ranged Def - Melee Def
So based on the way phases will play out, I used my 5 freebies to unlock all the above branches except Ranged Acc. I figured that was the branchI would quest for being that we're in phase 1, is that right so far? I have enough xp to train Ranged Acc 1 box, but cannot obtain the quest to open the branch. When I speak to Capt. Pameos, all I get are choices that allow me to convert xp. I cannot learn anything else from Noldan at this point, so it must be that I need to unlock this Ranged Acc branch still, correct?
I spoke to the elder, he is sending me over to the captain for the combat quest, but I can't get the choices. I can however get quest option from all the other peeps in village, just not the one I want from the captain. Shouldn't I be able to get the patrol quests from the captain at this point regardless of xp? I'm just lost on how to proceed, is this some sort of bug?
