Oh hardly angry. It doesn't bother me at all if you can't make sense - I was just pointing out the fact that I at least tend to ignore the posts of those who can't make their point using English and without using moronic abbreviations. I don't think I am alone either. If someone chooses to be seen as stupid, thats their right of course.

I also think you do many a "kid" or teen an injustice when you assume that I think only they are not capable of expressing themselves. I have met and exchanged posts with many people who were under 20 and could argue intelligently and clearly. My disdain for the inarticulate is quite inclusive, I don't discriminate based on age, gender or other factor. I ignore all poor quality incomprehensable posts equally

The only sad thing is a lot of people who can't express themselves are going to come against a barrier in their futures that they can't cross due to their lack of communications skills. It will keep them from better jobs, better pay, and limit their growth and opportunities. Those who lack these limitation will end up being the ones who hire them, administer them, and own the companies they work for etc.

I have to agree.

It takes very little skill or intelligence to use colloquialisms and "hacker-speak" (and Ebonics IMHO but feel free to disagree) as opposed to properly worded English.

It made sense back in the dawn of time when 300 Baud modems were the norm and online services charged you fees for e-mail based on the length to shorten one's messages in such a way. Now in the days of unlimited monthly cheap usage and high-speed connections it is an obsolete practice and just a sign of lazyness and/or ignorance.

I dont see why you really worry so much. Yiu really need just time management. For instance my ordinary day when i have school (if there arent any teste the next day, if there were i'd propably just study) :

-come home from school about 14.30
-lunch
-home work (half an hour usually)
-then i study a bit (1 hour - 1,5 hours)
- then the time is about 17.00 and i can then play, i play untill, lets say 19.30 and in that time (thats about 2h and 30min playing) i can cap my weapons one time, in an AOE group

Then there are also weekends and Fridays guys

And someone has just shown that their thought process is as one might assume from their crappy English skills. Never mind that Sneev didn't point out any age group; how much of this thread has been about adults having low wage, boring, and generaly crappy jobs because they lack the skills to do better?

I've met many people online who are adults, have crappy grammar, and for the most part lay claim to low level jobs. The ones who write properly online (or emails, letters, or talk properly in real life) tend to have better paying and more interesting jobs. But hey, if flipping burgers stikes your fancy, have at it!

(of course, if you want to improve, it's quite easy: aside from reading decent, books, so many programs, chat boards, and browser plugins have spellcheckers. look at what the program suggest! Read it, write it 5 times, type it 5 times, and have a swig of beer to celebrate.
