I'm a High School student myself, and go back just before Labor Day. My writing and spelling are pretty bad, but I make it a point to take the effort to check my work and see if it looks alright. This includes internet forums; like other people have said, bad habits are hard to break. I may accidentally forget to capitalize I or forget an apostrophe in a contraction, but I like to think that my posting in a legible and intelligent format increases the respect people have for me. Many people would say that it is sad I try to gain respect in an online game, but the people playing here are still people and don't deserve me half-assing my typing because I probably won't meet them.

The point is, if you can't be bothered to make sure your posts are comprehensible, then why should we be bothered with reading them? You could have the cure for cancer hidden in that mess somewhere, and no one would know because you don't demonstrate the ability to communicate properly.

If you can't be bothered to spell correctly or formulate coherent sentances, then I can't be bothered to decipher the garbage you typed out or respond to it. In other words if you type crap, your voice and opinion get ignored.
I assume (rightly or wrongly, I don't give a damn) that if you can't express yourself well, your simply too stupid to be bothered with. Yes, yes, if English is your second language you deserve some leeway (although most such people are far better at English than the native speakers when it comes to spelling and grammar), and if you are mentally handicapped in some way I will certainly cut some slack. Otherwise though, poorly expressed messages that include a lot of "u", "ur" and "b4" etc are IMHO just written by cretins who don't deserve my time wasted on whatever they posted, sorry. Normally I just skip all such posts completely. Sometimes I feel compelled to comment when I come across a particularly rich example of inexpression.

I would not rather speak like this, for it is too annoying for me to type accordingly to and i dont like my sentences. so this is howi actually talk and it really doesnt matter

To the OP: yes, it's unfortunate for you, considering how close you are to Jedi, that school is starting again. To us older people, who have to work for a living, well we can only fondly wish to have our youth back. Please try to do well in school. It's the only way to get a truly kick-a$$ job. That way, you can afford to pay for these games yourself, instead of having your parents pay.

Oh hardly angry. It doesn't bother me at all if you can't make sense - I was just pointing out the fact that I at least tend to ignore the posts of those who can't make their point using English and without using moronic abbreviations. I don't think I am alone either. If someone chooses to be seen as stupid, thats their right of course.
I also think you do many a "kid" or teen an injustice when you assume that I think only they are not capable of expressing themselves. I have met and exchanged posts with many people who were under 20 and could argue intelligently and clearly. My disdain for the inarticulate is quite inclusive, I don't discriminate based on age, gender or other factor. I ignore all poor quality incomprehensable posts equally
The only sad thing is a lot of people who can't express themselves are going to come against a barrier in their futures that they can't cross due to their lack of communications skills. It will keep them from better jobs, better pay, and limit their growth and opportunities. Those who lack these limitation will end up being the ones who hire them, administer them, and own the companies they work for etc.
