As far as I am aware from talking to a new jedi, the grenades gave Combat XP, and is listed in his experience as combat XP and did nothing to his Jedi XP levels.

Maybe grenades, which I have never tried myself, but a few days ago I checked to see if this bug was fixed, using my trusty republic blaster and I got jedi xp, NOT combat xp when using it.

So, unless this has been fixed in the last few days (which I doubt) then this bug still exists and does still work.

It's been announced that that particular fix will be in publish 6 - go have a look at the recent test center update, where it says:

"Profession: Jedi
Jedi XP is now granted after combat only if a Lightsaber was used"

I HIGHLY doubt that this fix has been pushed out to the live servers yet.

Quick question from a new Jedi.

Currently, I can get roughly 325 to 400 Jedi XP per kill. (This does not count saber specials, force power usage, etc., just the killing of the creature.) Is this a good number or should I be shooting higher?

Thanks

I'm curious what jedi are finding to make the most xp from? Low population andlow kinetic resists would be key obviously. Is there any way to take missions from a terminal? It'd be nice if we could make some credits when we hunt.

I realize that most jedi don't want to reveal their hunting grounds, so please feel free to message me with any information or suggestions.

Also, are thereany jedi exclusive websites? These boards are nice, but so loaded with FSCS threads.

Thanks for any help!

Well, it's not a secret, but at my level, the best and easy xp is on Quenker andSavage Quenker on Dantooine. Both mobs have rather low kinetic resist and low HAM.

A Quenker has about 4,5k HAM and 25% kinetic, and they never do states attacks (no stun, no dizzy, no intimidate, no blind, and they don't death blow) and they worth 318 Jedi xp (with 1 alt grouped with me).

A Savage Quenker has about 4,5k HAM also and 35% kinetic, they can stun (no dizzy, no intimidate, no blind, and they don't death blow) and they worth 392 Jedi xp (with 1 alt grouped with me).

Pickets are a lot tougher, have more HAM, and some of them worth less xp than a Savage Quenker...

Arachne drones are pretty easy and give 400jxp as well as borgle life sappers. They have status effects but the duration is fairly short. Blurrg hunters only give 216jxp but they attack in mobs of at least 4 and you can dispense them very easily so you get lots of xp fast with zero risk. Kliknik defenders and queens are a little tougher to kill but you get 400xp and their poison dot duration is short. Stay away from higher level arachnes and crystal snakes, they are easy to kill but poison dots last a long time. Oh and keep your bike handy for when those nasty queen and three webmasters spawn from your lair at the end (this sucks when it happens).

gnarled rancors(no other kind i've found)

they rarely intimidate, and it might be the others nearby doing the intimidating

they give 402 exp (or close to that) and they die faster then even a savage quenker since they have extrmely low kinetic protection. i hunt with a l2 pearl saber and a l5 crystal saber(the pearl saber is better) and a friend who is tkm/doc in case i get in over my head.

The bounty hunters are comming. Say hi with a lightsaber.

rofl. Yep thats about how to do it. kill kill and kill some more. you can average about 200k xp a day.

Just go to the higher planets kill everything you see. Have yourself lots of good food in your backpack.

and some muon and pixie handy just in case you get in a pinch.

Go fully buffed, team a pet or droid.

Full set of good armor, food, drugs and a decent saber should be ready.

Find a nice spot on an andvanced planet and kill everything that moves.

Avoid mobs with Light Armor, NPCs and stuff that takes long to kill.

As soon as you can do Mindblastand Force Throw, use it.

Thats about it. 100k+ XP per buff cycle is not too hard to do. The more Force Specials you can spam, the more XP you get per time.
