Thread: Jedi XP

One method I use is to make a very low force cost 4th or 5th generation light sabre and I force run aggroing as many mobs around me as I can. When I have about 6 to 7 mobs surrounding me I use flurry once or twice and get about 3k Jedi xp. I wait for more mobs to surround me and do again -- another 3k Jedi xp. This gives decent xp in relatively short time with not much wear on light sabre -- but xp gain is still somewhat slow especially having to wait for force pool to saturate again. Other people must have other tactics for maximizing xp ...?

Random little thought: What difficulty missions do jedi pull? I know I can pull 31s or so by myself, what does a jedi pull by himself?

I never pull missions, would just slow me down.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted about it, but it seems Jedi XP will be like weapons xp now insteadof like combat xp. This is good news to me.

? We won't be able to find this out until we get sabers, because our xp mods are screwing up our xp stuff.

I'd be willing to bet that the quick XP is only for testing. SOE doesn't have 2 or 3 months for people on TC to grind up to jedi master to test the high level force ranking features.

Well, the highest rank Jedi on TC2 will be the Devs themselves and the Lucasart people. Most people can already train as knights and that's equivalent to 4444 guardian. FRS system will be in place after getting knight and going in to the enclaves.

Still, no one can enter the enclaves. We'll just have to wait til they get back from the holidays. Lightsaber skill tree now requires Jedi xp as well now.

Just a curiosity I have, sorry if it's already been addressed here, but I couldn't find it.

my Jedi is 4333 initiate(yeah, noob), i opted to go for 4333 instead of 4134 because it's an extra box i can transfer next week, so basically saves me 400k xp. Is pre-publish xp also going to transfer, or just skill boxes? There's no way i'll get 800k xp to get 4334 before publish, so should i even bother playing my jedi, like if i only get 300k xp at publish, will i get all my boxes to transfer, and also have 300k xp saved, or will i be reset by default to 0 xp?

Thx,

Protiss
