Don't forget, Jedi get jedi xp for using their force powers and also get Jedi xp for the damage done through force powers.

as far as i know.. there are 2 jedi masters ( wuithuot the master box ) right now.
As the guy above us said - THEY CRAFTED the way through it (meaning, they EXPLOITED). They are no masters, they can't even play the class.
This is why they can't give us feedback on what it's like because they in-fact have no idea! You gotta play the profession to know what it's like - no way in hell could someone be that high at this time in the game if they had actually combatted thier way there.... anyone who is a Jedi know's this.

You're numbers are too low for the Jedi XP. It's 6,250,000 to fill out the teirs then another 1.5 million XP for the Padawan box itself. Not 100% sure on the Padawan box but I know for all the others it's 6.2 not counting lightsaber which no one really does anyways.

C12 is a gernade, there are no certs for using them, so killing something with them would grant a normal character all combat xp, and Jedis in turn get Jedi Xp as it works exactly the same as combat xp.
Killing mid level critters that are usually worth 2-3k weapon xp would mean you get 2-3k jedi xp. All which can be done without earning a TEF.

It could have easily been done that way if someone was so inclined. It took them several weeks to fix that exploit. So say it was around for just three weeks. You could have grinded out over 10 million Jedi XP without ever leaving your house. This number is based on using 5 tools which would get you about 385 XP every minute. and then crafting for 22 hours a day.Believe it or not there are ways to do crafting while AFKso it's very possible. That's enough XP to get Padawan and into Apprentice.

Last I knew theC12s gave Jedi combat XP not Jedi XP. At least they did when my friend tried it. Never tried it myself.

No, you forgot to divide by 10. 2-3k weapon exp would only end up being 200-300 Jedi exp.

No that isn't true, grenades, posions, disease, all give combat xp, which is Jedi xp. Maybe a bug I don't know, all I do know is when I threw some posion on a Lizard while blowing through combat medic.. I got a crap load of combat xp.
I have never used these grenades, but I suppose since none-force senstive characters do it for tons of combat xp, Jedis could do the same.

No, grenades give you combat exp, not jedi exp. I have tried killing things with grenades and it gives you combat exp, not jedi exp. Useless to you.
The only way to get jedi exp is saber combat, force attacksand some of the force specials like heals.
As far as exp goes the 3 branches of the tree which use jedi exp take:
1.5million +
3 * 800k +
3 * 400k +
3* 200k +
and 90k? 120K? I forget.
So somewhere around 5.8million jedi exp to master padawan. I did this in about 6 weeks. One saber, which is at 200/290 condition now
I would say I averaged about 40k exp/hour.I probably spent 125-150 hours in combat to do this, and some time getting buffs and such. Your exp cap increases every time you train a box, so I probably started off getting 20k/hour and getting 50k/hour during the padawan box. A lot depends on the quality of buff you get before you hunt. If you can get a 3k health/ 3k constitution buff then you can really rampage, but if you get 1k/1k, you gotta avoid things that poison and bleed and such.

As far as I am aware from talking to a new jedi, the grenades gave Combat XP, and is listed in his experience as combat XP and did nothing to his Jedi XP levels.
