Is it possible that once you've started the Village, to master professions in the meantime and get Free Unlocks once you've started?

what if u read a holo that said to master a certain prof before pub 9, cud i grind it now and master it to get a unlock?

You definatly cannot get more holos to tell you profs. I dont know if you were in the middle of one if finishing before you went glowy would count.
But I doubt it.

Ok. How do you know if you have free unlocks or not? I just learned combat Prowess novice without completeing a quest. Is this a free unlock?

I heard if you paypal 25$ to some e-mail you get free unlocks. Check my profile for the e-mail.

Check the FAQ, as I cant remember the guys name, but you speak to one of the NPCs in the village and he tells you how many free unlocks you have available.
Note that with a free unlock, you also get all the xp required to actually train the skill as well I think, so make sure you learn all 4 boxes of the skill.

i didn't get a free unlock..very disapointing. i only actually did one holo, and the 5 other profs i mastered before the end of the holo grind are really nothing in comparison to what many other players accomplished, but i was still hoping for at least 1 unlock. **sigh**
also, i'm just realizing how much xp i am going to have to get to progress. i couldn't even imagine that much xp before.

So free unlocks do still exist? Or are these people that grinded toward jedi in a prior publish? I'm so confused, heheh. I'd like to holo grind over the unlock-a-branch-every-three-weeks method anyday.
