Thread: ALL THE TIPS YOU NEED TO GET PHASE 3 COMBAT PROWESS DONE!
I've done this quest 3 times over the weekend, in a group (2 completes) each time. First was me & a friend, the other 2 runs I was helping guildies. Worked every time, flawlessly.
thanks for the route Jispo, you really heped me out. your pretty kick ass in my book.

Finally got it done tonight, figured I'd wait rather than trying it over the weekend. The guide is good, but the waypoints are outstanding ! They really make it perfect.
Personally, I never let the commander get further than 14-15m behind me, any further than that he'd bolt, dont know how other people managed it. With the waypoints, and the guide, knocked it off with a friend in just about 40 minutes.
Please, please, please sticky this, or add it to the Force Sensitive guides, until SOE fixes this quest up, this is going to be invaluable to anyone trying the quest, and will surely be a great reference for furture FS'ers.
Here is a news flash... once you have the commander 200 meters from the baes tell him once to follow you and keep him 40 to 50 meters from you and never stop walking. He will follow you all the way back.
If you stay close to him and keepstopping to tell him to follow is when he runs all the time. I know there will be some argument about this... but in the 5 or 6 times I've done it I just keep him moving and he has never turned to run from me at that range, ever. It's not a LOS with him... just keep him moving. You can run out 50 and stand for 10 or just walk at the 45 meter mark.
The commander will stop when get gets like 10 or 15 meters from you if you stand there he will just turn and run off. You can speed up a little going down hills, he will catch up. When going up hills take him at an angle like he has zero terrain nego and he will move faster.

Jispo, how far is the closest w/p to the village i am using your wp's and i have them in the opposite direction from the village. Usually the Village is about 6k meters from the closest base . r u intending to use a negative sign on the first coordinates?
Thanks in Advance.

It took me a minute to figure out what you were saying. And I'm sorry for the confusion, the first number of the waypoints is not a negative number. I've edited my posted waypoint list to help avoid the trouble you were having with it.

It seems a bit dangerous but if it works for you that's just great. I'd much rather play it safe and have as much control over the situation as possible.
Where is the danger is this? If he never turns to run back what is the issue? We did this again last night and at times I was 90+ meters from him.
thanks to Kuval and Jispo.
I just fiinished this quest with 2 others using the wp given and it was easy as.
I can confirm that the commander will follow u from 70m away and he didnt try and run once ![]()

This thread is here to offer help to the many people having trouble with this particular quest. I'm none too interested in turning it into a debate over what you think is right compared to what I think is right. We have a difference of oppinion and let's just keep it at that.
