Thread: Petition : Convert Starship Pilot XP in FS xp

Not having Starship XP and Prestige Points convert is absolutely Ridiculus. But 50:1 is quite a bit high, especially since it is not as easy to get as ground xp's.
Getting prestige is much easier than getting ground xp, as explained in my posts above.
Wrong... You said that in gorup you could have 250k in 15 minutes... So that's 1 million in 1 hour... Same than I said
So considering you got combat xp with weapon xp, it's almost twice slower ![]()
And even if you could match the sameFS xp rate in a big and well trained group, no way ratio should change, it would encourage teamwork and not make FS xp faster, only more fun ![]()
Edit : I still think we should start with a 50:1 ratio, if it happens to be really too slow, it can always be raised, if it's too high at the beginning it would make many people moan ![]()

- In SW-Stories most of the Jedis have been famous as good pilots too.
- Not to need any SkillPoints for Master-Pilot is an argument that doesn't count, this is a game, so it's about gaming, not about paying
- So if someone likes flying, let him/her fly around and do FS-XP that way
- To grind FS-XP with base grounded professions is really kinda boring. I do it myself all the time, and to be honest, it's not far from AFK-Dancing or AFK-Sampling. It's nothing more then finding a big Solo-Group (although you get no money, but who cares), get big missions with many mobs in the lair and start your Spam-Specials-Macro (or grenades). Drive, SpamSpecials, Drive, SpamSpecials, Drive, SpamSpecials ... for hours.... On the other hand, you can't do that in space. you have to keep concentrated and focused for each single target. This sounds like "fun" or "gaming" ??? Sure, cause it IS FUN (atleast for me).
- Compared to the ground-Professions collecting XP in Space is more like "work", you have to constantly do something for it, not just get the best sticking combat profs and start "spamming specials" by hitting your mouse-button like hell (or make a recursive macro thet spams the specials for you).
- The group-thing in space is a quite interesting point. I myself am master pilot, and i haven't seen XPs coming when i didn't hit the target at least once (what doesn't mean that i am completeley sure about that). Anyway, if this is a reason to group up with other player, then in my opinion it's not just OK, but it's GOOD! Cause it's not just an AFK-Solo-Group where you need the people to get bigger missions, no, all the pilots in the group have to do their job :-) Sounds nice to me !
IMO 50:1 is a bit high, 25:1 is better i think, but any conversation-rate is appreciated instead of this "no, JTL is fun, so it cant get a way to become jedi"-ting right now. I would prefer only Prstige-Points to get changed to FS-XP, this gives everyone a reason to master the profession :-)
btw.: Shipwright-XP should also get able to be changed to FS-XP

I disagree with the petition. People with good twitch skills already enjoyhuge benefits in the ground game because of it - they can grind faction easily, and make money easily from space loot and or/selling the faction they make. It's one thing to have financial relationships between ground and space, but getting ground skills from piloting is going way too far in my opinion.
Where's the problem ? Before sologroup nerf people did make millions credits (out of nowhere) AND gained FS xp... Plus they can sell loot they got on the ground too... They can AFK grind, they can make money, make faction points, etc, but in space you HAVE to be in front of the screen, and HAVE to be grouped if you wanna make decent xp... + if i follow you, why the hell being a master pilot would give you an item you can wear on the ground ? That's unfair
