Well the main problem is ive really worked alot to get my template ready for the jedi grind, I grinded out Smuggler/TKM, my toon is pretty worthless to me right now cuz high end PVE is what im used to being a long time Swordsman, hes pretty weak now...so I guess thats what p|sses me off so bad.

I'll tell u all straight up right now. Its BS, PLAIN BS, the CSR's can't do nothing. They freaking coded the darn game to have both quests on Capt Sarguillo, they DAMN better well have it working right. This BS about waiting another phase is nothing but BS. We SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT for another phase because of their stupid butts. Those like me who grinded completely nonstop and saved up enough xp for the rest of a tree hoping to get it this phase and get told we can't do nothing about it, is BS. I think we should all band together and flood them with as many /bugs and telephone calls till someone gets the picture. THIS IS BS!!!!! I didnt spent 4 1/2 months of my life for nothing grinding away at something to have some pimple faced retard tell me they can't do crap for me. It DAMN well better work this time around, their excuses are full of BS!!!!

I dont understand how SOE expect people to take Jedi without the melee defense line (altho thats not the unlock I need, I took melee def last time)

true, the server where i play didnt shift phase yet, but as soon as it does and if the quest is bugged for me i will surely spam them with dozens of tickets...
we should get Tiggs or some dev to comment of make a post in the announcements forum ... i want to know what's going on...

I think you guys are all confused.
Melee Defense is from the Enhanced Reflexes tree. All ER quests start with Whip, not the capt.
Are you saying that Whip has directed you to the Capt., and he won't give you a quest?
Last time I spoke to Whip, he sent me to another guy, the one by the guy who can train you in FS skills.
I would try some of the other NPCs and maybe the text spit out by Whip is not correct.

Seriously though, I HIGHLY suggest all of us affected even in the littlest ways, from unlocking just to train or those LIKE ME, who DEPEND ENTIRELY upon this skill to start paddy trials to /bug EVERY single day and respond to tiggs in this thread here and let her know how upset we are and for her team to get on the rest of the DEV's to fix this ASAP. People like me and many others will literally BEG you to do this, not only for us, but for you as well!!! We'll do the same!!!

hum, are you sure ? i thought the captain gave the the two branches, like combat prowess : ranged weapon speed and enhanced reflexes : melee defense..
oh im confused now... can someone check whip then ?
