Eveyone who payed for the game should be able to become Jedi .........
What really bothers me is how they keep changing the rules to become one ... that is not on....
First the holo's ...... with on secret profession..... then 2 secrets ... then 3 secrets .... and now the village......this was the reason of many experienced mmorpg players to move on, you just can't change rules in a mmorpg whenever you feel like it.... big screw up from soe there..
The only reason i'm doing the grind now, is to unlock my second char for an extra 250SP ...... nother flaw in SWG ..... you should NEVER loose skills you once learned .... when dropping a profession to learn another, you don't forget how to do it ...... you should be able to pick it up again WITHOUT having to regrind all the experience you already grinded once ...
I also see very many Jedi on Farstar .... more Jedi's then Image Designers..... but that's ok .... everyone is entitled to become one, and should be rewarded for their efforts ......
My 2 cents...

First off. If you didnt lose the xp when you dropped a skill we would have constant 32 proffesion masters. Need a new set of armor? oh well ill just drop swordsman for 15 minutes and make it... oh they nerfed feign death? oh well ill drop smuggler and pick up pistols again in 10 minutes.... you get the dang point. It would take out the MM out of MMORPG.
Second Jedi WAS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO BE SECRET. You were never supposed to know how to get it. They screwed up making it so easy to get jedi.. yes EASY. Its just time consuming. Think before you post man.
Hmm. .. you kinda missed my point here ..... the MM is already taken out because of all people grinding all the time ..... and to be able to craft your armor, you would have at least learned how to becoma AS once ...
And iforgot tomention that you can't switch immediatly ..... it would take 24 hours to go into effect, and you would still have to PAY for each box you pickup....so it's not like you can switch whenever you want .... but i guess you would have figured that out yourself. I lost a few friends in the game, cos they were stuck in their template .... they would like to try something else ... but don't want to giveup their current template they worked hard for....
Btw, when a post doesn't matchyouropinion, it doesn't make itthe worse posts ever .... it just states that more people are capable of having one .... I sincerely suggest you take a crash course in communications or speaking in public.Opening a post with trashing someone elses work and ideas isn't the base for a constructivepost, but rather invites for a rant.
I understand that jedi is supposed to be secret, and I loved the holo setup...at least people got to see the game while trying all kind of professions .... now everyone runs aroud with the same template, killing two million baz nitches each day ..... now that is taking out MM out of MMorpg. Anyhow, they kept changing rules in a mmorpg and that is not on.

The village is just as unhealthy as the holo-grind ever was, seeing that people want to "find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" as quickly as possible. The only difference is that, if you want to do something else and have a break from the grind you can in the current system - unless you've setup your FS template in such a way, that you are totally incapable of doing anything else in the game.

Minor flame, but it seems people who just unlock, or just finish trials post this. I am against Jedi CAP. Everyone may not want to be a Jedi, but there are people, such as casual gamers, who dont have the time to play as much as HARDCORE players do. That would mean, the HARDCORE players would become Jedi way before Casual players, making the CAP full of HARDCORE players. Making it in everyway unfair for the casual players. There should be a CAP in FRS, which to my understanding there is, but not to Jedi. Its unfair....
....just my two credits.
