Isn't that why they get an alt?

Hey, I stand corrected. I originally said I wasnt talking about jedis with sabers drawn, only ones with robes and tags but OMG!!!

I was doing the rounds on lok trying to promt the old man when I landed in a well known Imperial village. I was just standing there minding my own business, scanning my radar for any white dot that looked over 70 when all hell broke lose.

There were Jedi averywhere and one of the biggest battles I've seen with Jedi erupted. I got some screenies that I will post as soon as I fire up my laptop, but they were everywhere.

I have to admit it was an awsome sight but kind of goes half way to proving my point that eventually, one day, everyone will have a jedi.

I think it's fair that anyone that has the determination can be Jedi if he wishes...

But I don't agree on the way SOE has made Jedi so visible in the entire picture by giving them unique robes to wear (that give bonuses, let's not forget that) that clearly marks them as Jedi. That white paddy robe is like lighting a lantern in the middle of the forest - anyone a mile away can see it and knows what it means.

I think if SOE had given the whole Jedi/timeline issue a little more thought, they'd have kept the robe as visibily giving, but put the benefits on it in the Padawan box. This way daredevil Jedi could wear the robe to purposely gain vis to have bountyhunters on them or they could wear regular clothing and stay hidden just like before publish 9-10.

Jedi are cool to watch and probably also cool to be once you get over the initial phases but I think it is wrong to spoil the SWG story by making them so thoroughly visible.

As for showing off your accomplishments... To be honest anyone thinking like this should not have been rewarded their Jedi after the grind, no matter how much work they put into it. It is people like this that obviously don't care about the spirit of the game and only think of benefitting themselves to prove they are "l33t" or "ub3r". Do us all a favour and play World of Warcraft instead.

many though that do this jedi phase and grind r quitting there goal of becoming jedi b/c it is far too long to achieve and too much dedication for there own taste...though i think the grind is the hardest part personally...unless ur commando...but yea i think devs should make it a tiny bit harder...not on how to achieve it but something to keep noobs to the game out of being jedi...like u have to play 7 or 8 months before able to start phases or something...that way it is somewhat of a priv to become one..and a couple other things to lower the numbers..but so far i think they r doing a good job on the phases and all...if it wasnt the fact that i always wanted to be a jedi, i would stop doing this...but well i want to master it..

This is purely opinionated and somewhat biased..

Basically some people think there are too many, some not. Nothing will change, took them long enough to change the old system.

i don't think there can be too many jedi. i mean even if most pvpers do become jedi the game is already set for that i mean once u do all the brain cell killing grinding u need to do more grinding and quests and more grinding and more quests to become good for pvp there r still ppl that can kill knights and with frs only a fraction of the jedi can have real power because of the frs cap. and most ppl can't handle all of the work it takes to go through jedi. it requires hours apon hours of grinding and even then i have to start out weak as hell and then i need to watch ur force till u reach the upper lvls so i wouldn't worry about too many jedi. actually im looking forward with a lot of jedi. it gives u somthing to work at. once ur a knight ur done without the frs and with alot of jedi u need to continue with the pvp every day or u'll lose power.

i still think the devs should add the /strap jedi to nuke, and the /detonate nuke commands

in my opinion those were some of my best ideas.

I totally do not get the different types of JEDI lol. Are the knights the ones that have to stay SF now? Oh well I do not get it. If they can make the GCW so that PvE can have fun killing NPCs without being attacked I can see they could do the same for JEDI.

I agree with that too. Jedi has expoit more then any other profession! They abuse Houses (hiding in them), they abuse player made cities (again hiding in em), they even expoit by useing healing and force channeling bugs! Plus everytime they get killed any BH gets about 10 Hate mails!
