Does anyone know what will happen to Holocrons that are in your inventory when issue 10 is released? Will they become useless as the quest missions are introduced or will they serve another purpose?

as long as they don't do what they did to the ones before the whole holocron thing. i got a bunch i use to make a tower and i don't want them all to get shattered.

As far as I remember, they weren't planning on taking them out of the game. So, they should still be in your inventory.

It would be nice to see them disappear from the game use wise, still dropping in the game. Then in a few months see them pop up for us who keep them. (Space expansion???) Would be neat to get a quest that requires old items, like Christmas statue, get an uber weapon or something.

Your assuming the swordsman can hit the BH. =P
My main is a swordsman. I'll tell ya, BEST damn pve profession out there in my opinion. However, the ONLY time I win a pvp fight is when I duel friends with no armor on. Toss on a composite helmet and I'm fried. Or worse, give them more than 40 melee defense(not hard to get), and even with my rodian bonus to accuracy and my +10 from skill tapes, I'm pretty much useless. Exceptional Power hammer does you NO good if you cant hit the target =P.

no offense, but I have pvp'd VERY effectively with a swordsman/doctor fora few months. Dont use a power hammer, use a scythe or a 2 hand curved sword. Power hammers in pvp are crap imho. give me a 400 max damage 2.3 speed scythe any day over a crap hammer. lunge is your friend, so is area3. Use those with headhit3 and you are a pvp king. dont forget your centerofbeing macro.

Sorry my comment is coming from an Ex-Fencer. Even with a really good scythe, pvp isnt as good as it could be for swordsman. I have a 420 damage scythe unpupped, and an exceptional PH. Dont get me wrong, Ilove the 1000 damage mind hits I can get on unarmored people with my PH, and the scythe doesnt do too bad. but against 80% kenetic, or even higher blast, theres not much a swordsman can do.
When compared to all the other single professions(not defense stackers) I personally believe that swordsman falls second worst, only carbineer gets lower =P.
Maybe, I'm just not good with swordsman in pvp, but with JUST fencer I could kill 10 to 1, now when I pvp its 1 to 10 for me =P.
