No more than six. Six quests will unlock six branches, you pick which branches, and do the corresponding quest. Once you have completed the quest, you will be able to grind xp, get Paemos to convert that xp to Force xp, and usethe xpon the branch you unlocked. Once you have unlocked six branches, and ground enough xp to fill them all, you will be able to do the exit quest and become a Jedi Initiate.

If I don't want to do the Padawan trails, but only want a few FS skills to augment my Smuggler, can I pick and choose to unlock ANY of the 16 skills in any order I want? (Given what's available in each phase of course.)

Can you start one quest, drop itand begin/finish another quest in the same village phase.
For example started patrol missions and realized would rather have the assembly bonus instead of ranged accuracy.

Any word then on what Crafting Technique does, if Experimentation doesn't give more experimentation?

the one thing im wondering is does it matter who we talk to. say i talk to whip in phase 1 and finish his quest do i get to choose from the ranged accuracy, survival, persuasion, or assembly?

ok so i have free unlocks i know this but i haventr gotten to the village yet. So if i use a free unlock do i still have to grind out the xp or do i get to the box 4 without using ne xp at all if i used my free unlock

Lol!
It's like 2am here and I dont wanna mess this up. I have two free unlocks.
I would like to get :
Survival (1)
Vehicle Control (2)
Melee Speed (2)
Melee Accuracy (3)
Ranged Defense (3)
Melee Defense (4)
What's my best course of action? I have the guide a few times and I am just thick tonight =p
Thinking about it more *uh-oh* I wonder if this is the right thing to do...
Free unlocks:
Vehicle Control (2)
Ranged Defense (3)
Phase 1: Survival
Phase 2: Melee Speed
Phase 3: Melee Accuracy
Phase 4: Melee Defense
Is this somewhat right?
