dont want to rub it in, but im a lucky **edit**.

i think i only did about 13 professions in the end, but i got 4 unlocks.

Having said that, i actually thought i knew what my silents where going to be, it appears i may have been on the mark if i got that close doing only 13 professions.

There were 8 secret proffessions you had to master pre pub 10 to get jedi

at the release of pub 10,
if you had 5 secret proffessions remaining you get 1 unlock
if you had 4 secret proffessions remaining you got 2 unlocks
if you had 3 secret proffessions remaining you got 3 unlocks
if you had 2 secret proffessions remaining you got 4 unlocks
if you had 1 secret proffessions remaining you got 5 unlocks

Only if you have cashed in on them. If you have, then you do. You keep all aquired skills. To be safe, I would get the free unlock branch then transfer.

Actually...

part of the description of the service states that currently NO Jedi nor FS characters wilbe transfered.

Whether or not they stick to that 100% or will make changes to that... I have no idea.

Best of luck...

and may the force be with you... whichever galaxy you end up on.

Hey just a friendly warning -- I believe I got screwed by this -- be careful. My situation is a little different from yours tho, but you should wait till you hear from CS about this.

I transfered before pub 10 and was pleanty far along (silent holos, dozens of profs, etc). I transfered and got jack squat for credit. That + $30 down the crapper = not good times.

Oh, another thing they fail to mention is that all your faction rank and XP is gone, which 'kind of' makes sense, but one would assume it is covered in the whole "all your XP and skills transfer" thing... so watch out.

hope this helps,

wow your so helpfull....

Paemos is the person you want to talk to in the villiage to find out if you have any free unlocks.... the following is taken from StGabriels Post:

7. Holo-grinding Perks
Paemos will have an extra option for those who hologrinded (or just did a lot of professions). He offers "free branch unlocks". These are improved unlocks similar to those available in quests. They happen immediately and (very importantly) they give xps to train skills with. The number of unlocks you get will depend on the amount of hologrinding you did. Someone who unlocked before Publish 10 should have 6 unlocks allowing them to train 6 full branches of FS skills and thus qualify for Jedi Initiate. Currently you cannot unlock a skill that you have already unlocked with quests -- although you can still do quests for skills you have unlocked with your free unlocks. Upon unlocking the skill you will obtain 1,275,000 xps of the relevant experience type. If you unlock Enhanced Senses: Persuasion, for example, you will get 1,2750,000 FS sense xps. You don't have to spend these on the skill you unlocked. You could, for example, unlock persuasion and then train luck. The xps are enough to train novice and the relevant branch. It is important to note that you will cap your xps at 1,275,000. That means that any xps you had, for the relevant category and prior to unlocking, will poof. If you had 100,000 FS sense xps, for example, and unlock persuasion, you will have 1,275,000 xps -- the same as you would have had if you unlocked with 0 xps saved. This means that you should try to spend all of your experience before unlocking any branches that have the same experience type.
