As far as I know you do get a second character when you get to Jedi initiate, not when you unlock FS.

You get an Alt on the same server as soon as you make Unlock Padawan. Not when you lock Force Sensitivity.

100% right. and I am 100% certain. as soon as you are a jedi padawan, you get a 2nd char on the SAME server.

but this alt is the jedi or is the main the jedi? just this last question =D

in the current system, your main character (the one that was FS) becomes your jedi. and the extra character becomes your non jedi. However you can, with that non jedi, go up FS as well.

I unlocked a month ago and yes you get a free slot to make on the same server. You can't log on your jedi and your alt though. One will get disconnected every time. Only time you can log on more then 1 is using seperate accounts

eh just to clarify, for example, you can log off your jedi, and log on your alt, and if your quick enough your jedi will still be there but LD. this technique is most commonly used if your alt is a doc and you buff yourself.

You'll want the second slot to play while your Jedi lays low, or when your frustration is off the scale. This way you can still play with your friends, and do all the tings you did before, as well as play the jedi.

No i mean lets say you are on your jedi. Then if you use that allowmultipleinstance thing or whatever like you do when you have 2 accounts but 1 pc then once your free unlock toon loads up your jedi likely will be diconnected within 5 mins or so. Whereas with 2 seperate accounts one never got logged off. It is like logging on to other games where it says "Name is already in use". So yes you get the free unlock but being it is the same account so you cant have them both on at the same time. Like if you are making your doc to rez you and buff you, it will likely be useless as you can't keep your doc logged on while you grind jedi and if you die you will likely not be able to rez or buff the jedi.

yeah, I didn't mean for it to sound like you were wrong, just wanted to mention while your not logged on your jedi, your alt can still see him while he's LD for a short time.
