hi this may be a bit stupid, i know the holo's and such are completely random, but is a combat skill of some sort required to unlock or could all of the skills be crafting and medical based, if anyone knows or has any insight please reply
1st holo - Bio Engy, 2nd holo - master merchant, 3rd holo - master doc, 4th holo master chef

Wow, all four are high level profs. I thought 1 or two were supposed to come from the core lower 6 profs.

Hrmm.. I'm still unsure if I should try the other three basics or continue on with my other plan.
Opinions? All info below.

man, i thought my holos were bad! i would try the base profession just becuase they are easy and you can elminate them fast. Or you could work on sub and then the masters above it, so you dont have to back track. like do master entertainer then, image designer, dancer, muscian and that way when you drop them you can drop it all and never have to go back to them

If only it were so. I was one of the first people on my server to finish four Holocrons, all of them were elites (Dancer, Pistoleer, Ranger, Teras Kasi). I'm on my 20th profession now and of course I've done all the core classes and have yet to unlock.

Same my 4 were. Tailor (god help me), Teras Kasi, Smuggler and Merchant.
So basically 2 from artisan and 2 Brawler related

I'm thinking Pike, Sword, Fence, Brawler, TKM.. then maybe smuggler and commando after... then perhaps finish off Pistoleer and then Rifle... sound like a good plan of attack up to that point?

Id do brawler as that will get you all the requirements for fencer,sword,tka. then decide what you want to do after brawler.

heh, I forgot to mention that I'm keeping Master Doc for as long as I possibly can... that's whyI can only do one at a time

All 4 of my holos where elites and none of the starters opened it. Its completely Random. Random means can be anything reguardless of race, starting location, starting town, starting planet, favorite color, faze of the moon, day of week, mothers maidon name. Just grind em till it opens.

Im pretty sure you don't get a second character for the same server anymore, i belive it happened at the unlock of FS. Lets just confirm this for me plz. Thanks.
