Thread: TC Conversion Rate Change

That actually means combat XP is 90:1 since comabt xp is 3:1 weapons unless it is grenades. OUCH.
no it's 300:1
combat exp is 1/10 of weapon exp

I was told that on TC the following changes have occured with regard to conversion rates at the FS Village.
Bounty Hunter Experience is now 5 : 1
Combat Experience is now 30 : 1
I LOVE IT!!!!
Maybe its a precursor to grenades actually receiving some love, other than for FS monkeys!!!

You would think they would have seen all of this coming.

Instead of this change I think grenades should have been changed to give heavy weapons XP.
I saved up more then enough XP for all my unlocks long ago, but even I can see this'll hurt people in the villiage that don't use grenades...
now see folks that's not a bad change. Instead of nerfing xp they did something smart for a change and upped the requirements without wholescale nerfing the enitre community. If the developers were keen on slowing down jedi progression (which they are btw, not that I like that but its reality) use this example of how to change things. Its an easier fix, less coding involved i.e. less unintended consequences.
For those of you all out there grinding using those methods do not cry just overcome adapt and move forward. If you cannot get used to HIGH xp requirements you should not be fs gridning anyway. Jedi is truly a profession you will NOT be able to comprehend or get through.
The problem is its far to little far to late and not even the right move. The people this will effect are the folks who have been grinding a few hours a week for a year due to jobs, kids, real life.
The people not effected are the power gamers who either arre already a Jedi and have been so a long time or have so much exp banked it wont effect them. Power gamers will find a way around this they always do.
It is very odd that they would choose to move the goal posts now after all their resent efforts in marketing have featured Jedi so much.
So let me get this sraight.....
Devs want to control the jedi population, so they start this process by making jedi missions MBHs only, cut the payment to laughable amounts, take away their name & level and only allow 2 BHs to take one jedi's mission at a time. Now, they change the FS conversion rates to slow down non-jedi, while not effecting the exisiting jedi and infact help them by taking away group vis and the BH mission "overhaul".
As Brian from Family Guy once said: "Swing and a miss."
A totally discgracful and simplistic "fix" to the jedipopulation. Shows how out of touch the devs are these days really...

Its funny that the casual gamer, like myself, are the ones that get hurt the most. We get punished cause someone throws grenades. Honestly, I have just had enough of grenade grinders (those that arent commando). Was in a group with one last night and numerous times he caused more trouble than he was worth. Multiple incaps of players and all the while he just stands there watching us kill creatures.
Change grenades to another form of XP, dont punish those that use Pistols, Rifles and Carbs.

I know, I was in this group a week or so ago and a guy was nading the base. At first I didn't notice what he was doing and I attempted to heal him when he pulled a few too many mobs at once. Then the guy stands there and watches as i get beat to hell by HIS pull for trying to heal him. Needless to say that guy never recieved a second heal and he got incapped plenty until eventially cloaning.
