How long ago did it used to be a hotspot. I farmed those caves for 2 or 3 days and only came out with 3 or 4 crystals and a petrified avian egg.

Where is a good place to hunt crystals?

I am SOOOO confused. Can someone explain what crystals do in detail. Ive heard of color crystals, power crystals, damage crystals, and premium crystals. WHICH ARE WHICH????????? The color crystals, yea the ones with color. But what is this about power crystals and damage crystals??? And why would you wanna use a krayt pearl in your lightsaber? what does that do?

Well crystals and pearls are only a jedi thing. any non jedi can use them as art. lol

But to answer you question.

color crystals =set the color and elimet damge that a light saber does. (heat, acid , ect)

damage crystals = these are the white or clear ones. when i jedi tunes them they get a min/max

damage value and a force cost value.

krayt pearls = same as the damage crystals execpt they tunes better (most of time)

now to make it a little more confusing. damage crystals and pearls have a quality rating. (only jedi can see this)

so if you have any pearls or crstals you need a jedi to look at them to tell you the quality rating then

you can sell them based on that.

Also, when people refer to either damage crystals, power crystals,or premium crystals, they're refering to the clear crystals

Ok so the condition on a crystal doesnt really matter than? Or as much as i thought anyway.

if you are like 90% of jedi these days and dont have an ADK then yes condition does matter..im lucky enough to have 2 of them from my 2 accounts so condition matters nothing to me

The crystals come in 2 flavours

clear and coloured

and both are required to get a lightsaber glowing (clear crystals can be replaced by a krayt pearls_)

clear crystals and pearls are used to cause the damages when attacking

and the coloured is just for the colour of the glow of saber BUT they are suppose to have a elememtal effect once or if they are fixed

the clear crystals and pearls come in different quality which only jedis will know when they examine them

so non jedis only see them as clear crystals and pearls

Yeah, I heard from someone else that this is a decent spot...easy kills too. I haven't been there myself, so I can't testify on the quality of them. Only reason I usually go there is for the holocrons.

Also, kunga's like to drop tons of crystals on dantooine as well...got a few, but they mostly are crap
