You cannot say it is a bug, and no official statement has been made saying that it is a bug. Therefore, for all of you who want to be the doomsayers, this is not an exploit. Camp that place all you want. If they warn you, then you leave. Until then, you stay all you want, because it is there and it is spawning NPCs that give good XP. It is not a spawn break, and it is not a forced action. It is a natural part of the game for the moment, and until they fix it, it is not an exploit.

And for god's sake, dont complain because your a BH or a Jedi who already ground out on GVTs.

So mummer thugs and crap like that are bugged too then? They spawn instantly and have been spawning like that since launch.

Sorry to say this: BUT current Warren is considered EXACTLY as Singing Mountain Clan never ending spawns . They are considered exploit and CSR's monitored there and teleported players to closest starport.

Here's an idea then... fix the bug?

Why punish people who are not exploiting a bug? If there is an issue caused by YOUR poor programming, fix it! Gah... and people wonder why the CU sucks.

Friend of mine tells me "you should tryn the cyborgs in the warren" good xp no running around and so on. im worth 74k on the terms. 148k xp lost if killed by a BH. I made about 200k in the warren before i was removed by a CSR and sent to 0,0. System message said it was an exploit and a note was attached to my account. Was in the place about 45 min. To this I say "fine" but I want every swinging willy who is grinding at the imp/rebel spawn on corellia to be treated in the same manner. the commandos spawn in the air and respawn when looted instantly as do a group of four stormtroopers. actually the whole freakin place respawns instantly at loot.

Redheart/Takes-the-Sky you have no moral high ground here at all. FRS farming may be condoned by many but it is no different than the spawns we are referring to. Personally i dont give a rat sheisse if you do it or not. its not anything i need be concerned with, until you start spouting off about this being the wrong way to grind.

on a side note i wont run from YOU so the mistell was pretty funny, if insulting.Running from a GROUP of BH however doesnt bother me a bit as i cant get to all of you at once.course bringing the imp to tef me was a nice touch. does my heart good to know you need to gank a 74k mission. makes me want to flex.

/flex

very soon i will die more quickly and be worth more money. this makes me sad. c'est la vie

i sent you a nasty tell being in a VERY bad mood after a VERY bad real life day. it was uncalled for and i immediately regretted it.it was especially uncalled for as i was not the one who lost the fight. but the rest stands.

shush with this exploit silliness. i wont be going back there until the devs or csr gives the ok. so now i wont be able to help anyone through it for fear of losing my account cuz im a dirty exploiter. just my luck my first trip in i get warned while others will continue to be able to grind away in there.moving me out and informing me is one thing, but to note on my account that im a cheater just steams my clams. i dont cheat. never have never will. hell i refuse to use DoT weapons on the grounds that they give unfair advantage.

flame away. i might even respond.but id rather we just be civil and have a CONSTRUCTIVE thread.

Go back to all the old geo cave posts and I'm sure you'll find posts that say, "Sure the cave is fixed, but soon enough another one will take it's place"

When you create a profession that has more risk than reward and something like the Warren happens where one can grind away a BH loss in a short time, it becomes very popular. Personally, I would rather grind like I have since pre-patch 9 and stay away from places like this as they tend to invite unwanted guests.

So whatever floats Warren grinders boat...

I was getting 825 a kill tho. Most anyone could get would be 1200 per kill, but you can't get that unless you have alot of skills, and those guys aren't difficult enough to give that much xp. So the most anyone could get would be 1000 per kill. I however don't think they could kill them nearly as fast as I coul, and I was killing them pretty much nonstop. So there is no way anyone ever got 3 mil a buff. Maybe 1.5 mil but I think that even that would be pushing it. I would say 1-1.2 mil is the max, 1.5 if you ground nonstop, never channelling or looting.

how can you grind non stop for an entire buff session without channeling ? lol you have a 0 fc saber or something ?

lol @ 3mill...what a walking jester this guy is.

at MLS you get around 700-900k a buff, I can top 800k exp a buff session on voitor trackers on dant. + you get on the terminals.

I enjoy jedi grinding there...on my BH alt I already took out 3 people training in the warren, its easy to get down there and the jedi dont know what hit them seen as theres so many mobs hitting them they got no time to react to attacks...its about 3 loyalists per 1 tracker and trackers die alot easier lol.

low FC saber and lots of force power(have all the novice boxes) I rarely had to channel myself doing my whole grind and I didn't even have a low FC saber heh

I have a 2fc saber 1st Gen, Force Bar doesn't move at all. Don't use it though takes to long to kill things.

IF you get the Cyborg spawn to yourself for 3 hours you might be able to get 1 mill xp, getting it to yourself is unlikely. When there are 2 Rifleman and 2 Jedi after the same spawn which is the norm it is unlikely you will get more than you would doing missions. Its really not that good for xp, conveniance yes.

DISCLAIMER: The information posted herein is expressly for the purpose of discussion relating to this post, and is not hereby posted to give anyone an unfair advantage. Please, please, please do not ban my forums access for this. I am simply trying to be informative.

All right, I'm going to open this up with a little story relating my recent experiences with the Warrens, and you can decide what you think about it, then I'll recap numbers at the end:

I was MLS/Enhancer 2-0-0-2/Novice Healer/Novice Defender and getting right around the 1k mark for each kill on the loyalist cyborgs spawning in a particular room. (If you've spent much time in the Warren, you probably know the room) I used it to finish out the XP cap I had been working on for a few days (ie 2-3) and ground out about 900k in that buff set. Trained up to Defender 4-0-0-2. (No, I'm not going Defender because of the CU, I decided to do it months ago because of the fact that my guild already has a Healer, an Enhancer and a Force Wielder) BH death, no rezz, so I'm 550k in the hole. Grind out almost 700k in a buff set on Dath, but at my last spawn, a Singing Mountain Clan Rancor jogs over and starts eating me, pulling with it the 6 other SMCs, including a Witch and a Huntress. Well, I'm on the boards now, so I figure I'll go back to the Warren to see how I do. Go down there and am now getting 1032 a kill on the cyborgs, though I'm getting 1130 or so for Young Rancors, so these buggers aren't nearly capping me out, anymore. I grind out just about enough XP to cover a BH death when, Lo and Behold! A BH arrives. 350k XP lost. (Got my ring for rezzing me then.) This was a few days ago. I have since managed to get to 4-0-0-4 Defender grinding lots of different places, but most satisfyingly on Dath, and most safely doing GVTs on Dant. Just for the heck of it, I went to check XP gains at the Warrens tonight. Less than 850 a kill. Seeing as how I'm not resting any less now than I was before using my ADK'd 4th Gen with 4 -9FC pearls that strangely enough produce a total -39 FC effect, (I don't get it either, but I'll be darned if I'm going to complain) I don't really see myself as doing much more than breaking 800k or so per buff set there now, which may be 100k more than the 700k I can get on GVTs, but after I factor in the minimum of one BH death that I WILL receive, I figure I'll stick with my Trackers.

MLS/Enhancer 2-0-0-2/Novice Healer/Novice Defender (141 SPs) = 983-1007 XP per Teraud's Loyalist Cyborg killed.

MLS/Enhancer 2-0-0-2/Novice Healer/Defender 4-0-0-2 (175 SPs) = 1032 XP per Teraud's Loyalist Cyborg killed. (Notice there is no variance in the XP, thus the XP per kill is under my cap)

All that stuff with Defender 4-0-0-4 (181 SPs) ~ 850 XP +/- per Teraud's Loyalist Cyborg killed. (Sorry, can't remember the exact number at the moment, just woke up and wanted to check the forums)

Side notes: I do think the spawns are at least partially broken down there right now. It is between 15 and 30 seconds of killing the cyborgs that they respawn, so they should probably fix it. However, the only time I saw something I would consider a truly broken spawn was when that same spawn suddenly popped out 15+ cyborgs, that ran straight after me and darn-near killed me. I hadn't run so fast since I had an Enranged Rancor Nest overspawn on me hunting on Dath when I was trying to earn MLS. The XP gains there are marginally better than what you might get taking missions out of a remote city, but I don't think these are exactly game-breaking here. Not so much so that I think that people should be banned for it. If places like the Rancor Valley still spawned like they used to, I would much rather hunt there and avoid the visibility, at what is quite possibly a higher rate of XP gain, but they nerfed that into oblivion. Now everytime I head to the Valley, all I see are a bunch of purboles and those flying buggers that like to annoy me so much, with some Nightsisters and MAYBE a rancor nest somewhere around, assuming I get lucky. Humanoid MOB spawns are up, high level critter spawns are down, and that goes for Endor as well, at least on Tempest. I'll finish my grinding elsewhere, but for a place as good for loot and XP as the Warren is to be bugged, and thus keep everyone from being able to enjoy* its content without getting warned is rediculous and something should be done. Why ban accounts and warn people when you can simply remove the NPC that gives the passkey as well as the keys that let you get into the main elevator? Sure, some people will have stocked up already to save themselves trouble, but those will dwindle, and within a few days, the whole place can be monitored and tweaked to make it work correctly again so some of us can still go down there and get our +7 AAs and CAs and whatever other nice items may be dropped. I just think there are too many alternative solutions, but they're a lot more difficult than clicking that little ban account button that I'm sure they've got somewhere on all of our profiles. There ya go, there ya have it. Yes, I think the place is buggy. Yes, I think it is exploiting that bug to hunt down there for quick XP gains, especially when good XP gains do exist elsewhere for those who know how to find and obtain them. No, I don't think you can compare it to the Geo Caves or the 0,0 Endor Spawn. (I can't say about the SMC spawn, never even knew that existed) No, I don't think banning is the right course of action. Yes, I think they should fix the place, because the loot down there is great! Please SOE staff, make this place accessible again and stopwarning people because of someone's programming error.

*The Warren is a horrifically confusing and convoluted mess. The programmers of this place were sadistic blokes who must have known how terrible the overhead map was going to be and took full advantage of it to give me the heaves each and every time I look at it. To enjoy this place you would have to be a phenomenal masochist, and thus my use of the word 'enjoy' is facitious at best, though some might suggest downright sarcastic.

How many SWG people does it take to change a lightbulb? 55. 3 Devs to discus the course of action, 1 to balance the relative power of the bulb to the other, dimmer, bulbs, 1 to implement the changes, and 50 players to b***h that it's not worth having the bulb anymore, anyhow.

The people that say CSR said it is not a eploit are funny. CSR in this game do not decide what is and isn't a exploit. If the Red Names have not said it is a exploit yet then it is not a exploit but when they do I feel sorry for the people that have used the Warren to level. Remember every account has logs and if they wanted to they could just look at those logs to see where you were grinding for xp.
