i think there is more to this conversion change than just the grenade exploit. Everybody complained about the jedi overpopulation, this is their solution. For the moment anyways, who knows what the next FS nerf will include.

That's kinda the point IMO. There are new jedi springing up by the dozens every day. And all they do is go to the trail and afk grind 2 or 3 mil xp a day in a group.






Good implementation but why do they have to do this after more than half the server player base already has a Jedi? Before may have worked better=)

Last night I unlocked Ranged Defence, my second unlock (yeah I was Pre-CU FS... you can see how lazy I was) and I have already finished the Melee Speed grind, but now I have to grind again, and by the time I finish with that (depends how fast I go) this might already be implemented and the remaining 4 that I have to do will be longer. When I grind I can usually get tons of xp, but I have other things to do in-game... I got a guild to help, and I like to help the people in the guild. I want to grind out an ATST (heh, but now they really aren't cheap on my galaxy) and with this new change it will keep people like me from doing other things in the game. I want to experience all that I PAYED for. I feel, if I don't experience it, then it's a waste of money. Hey, I even tryed to solo DWB (just for some laughs) because I never was there before. It's times like those that make me feel like I am in the Star Wars universe and that is why I bought this game. I like driving around to places... heck, I've been to the Emperor's Retreat so many times..... I've been to Exar Kun's Temple twice, and it makes me even more mad at rebs for having control of it


I think if all else fails, if they can't decide what to do, the devs should just keep things the way they are. I don't care if Jedi are running around everywhere... it doesn't bother me. It usually only bothers the people who want this to be like the movies. Well, we are in between two movies, and we were never told what happened in between those movies. There might have been Jedi running around and then when Episode 5 came around they were all dead again (however unlikely this may sound......) I really don't know. It's a sad fact for some: but jedi will not be taken away or limited in this game. Perhaps you should read what it says on theSWG box ". . . whether you become a bounty hunter or a dancer or a merchant or even a Jedi." I don't want Jedi limited, I want the path to be easier, yes, but i don't mind where it's at now. If it got harder I'd be mad, and I'd seriously start contemplating moving to another MMO if they screw up again.

I hope they see this is going over like a fart in church..not cool.


I'd rather see them working on more content. I don't recall ever hearing anyone complain about the XP conversion, but you always hear about more content.


In customer relations you make the customer happy, but all they do is piss people off. There is plenty of things that need to be fixed and tons of content that could be added, yet they only focus on nerfing this and nerfing that.


If you want to make it harder for players to become Jedi, then make it harder to become glowy. I opened a new account 2 weeks ago and I'm already going through the village. I think the Village is fine the way it is. Don't fix what isn't broke, spend the time fixing things that are broke.

Just checked Bria, still 3-1 conversion. I hope it'll be like that for a couple weeks or so, I'm on vacation for a week, and I can't do any last minute grinding. I have 2 full branches left to grind, and then the real grind starts... Actually, this is going to be the real grind soon.

The problem is not grinding FS, it is becoming glowie. You can become glowie in a matter of several days if you start a new character, and it sucks. Being glowie should be mysterious.

Well it's Tuesday, and nothing is here. Yay! What really gets me mad, is that they didn't ask us about this..... again. I just don't see why they should change something that actually WORKS.

Yeah well, I think that's why it takes 3 weeks for a phase change, so you have to at least play for 18 weeks (without free unlocks) to get your Jedi... but please, if I had a free unlock I would probably be done...

I dont see why they have to change the combat converstion...just do away with the 6k combat xp per lvl 82 critter for grenades...mind you it does make the grind like...twice as long if you're doing only combat/weapons xp.

i think the combat xp nerf is stupid. I know i know - COMMANDO nades get combat xp like mad , have your ever thought you could make nades give heavy weapons xp instead of combat xp ? . Heavy Weapons XP for me nails me 30k's worth of FS xp instead of 300k FS xp for combat. Its a simple solution and it takes a heck of a lot longer to cap combat xp then to cap heavy weapons
