As to post above. Im starting to agree. If people want to be a jedi then dont make it harder to become a REGULAR jedi. Add content to the game so that if you want to become a powerful jedi it takes longer. Maybe have jedi start out weaker and keep them safe from BH untill they hit a certain point.
Whats not fair here is that everyone wants to become a jedi to be powerful, and in reality its not hard to become a jedi, you just have to live with SOEs time tables. I say if you want to swing a lightsaber around then fine but if you want to be the 1.5 times as powerful as any other prof jedi THEN it should become much harder to gain this kind of power.
SOE, dont even THINK about going ahead with this stupid idea, one of many you've had lately, and im including the idea ofnerfing group XP, + this is defitnelly one of your more carelessly thought out ideas.
Most the people who have agreed to this post are either BH, Jedi Knights, or people who have just completed the village and are safe from being affected.
+ the issue of there being too many jedi around... so what? maybe SWG should be based between Ep1-3 or something,and considering Obi-wan said "Now the jedi but I are extinct", this would have no meaning anyway if there was a SINGLE jedi player, so i dont thinks thats a problem.
but if you are going to go ahead with this foolish plan, there should be somethng else done, like the rate of combat XP shud be gained as quickly as Wpn XP, and in the same ammounts.
but just try and THINK this idea through... for a change, or there will be a lot less subscriptions comming in from a LOT of people.

I have to agree with a majority of the posts on here, don't just toss a shotgun clast out here. If the nades are the source of the problem FIX THEM.
I started this game around the time village went active, and began my jedi grind then. But being military i was forced to take some time from game. In a high demand job i don't get to power grind like a lot of people. I chose my proffesion as one i would like to play, not just for the best fs grind template. A majority of my fs xp comes from combat. Being master in Pistols and Combat medic my xp gets split down the middle (reflexes/combat and senses). Adjusting combat xp just doesn't do it. If i remember corectly nades used to have their own xp branceh didn't they?
And as for population control on jedi......i seem to remember a time when Jedi feared BH's. BH's wern't just ranged, they wern't all masters. A BH with TKA was the most feared thing in the game.
So i'm saying don't stop us from becoming Jedi (i mean after all it is the biggest selling point of the game) Give Jedi something to fear again. It might be NPC BH's, rethinking the BH template give an option of ranged or melee to the BH. Something. But if your biggest problem is with the big glowys sticks showing everywhere......make them hide it. Don't kick the rest of us over it.
(forgot to mention the fact it takes anyone who wants to do any crafting even longer do to the lvl 54 cap, CU combat lvls.....what an idea they had there)
