Question.. how many Proffessions do you need to have done before publish 10 hits the LIVE servers to unlock the 6branches for free??? with out having to quest to unlock them????

More than 8 proffessions??

this new process sounds like fun! even thou long. and thanks the write up was very informative

just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Shield Upkeep Quest Giver: Quharek (5371 -4180) ( Phase 3, Crafting quest )

Task: You are asked to give resources to a droid in the village in order to aid the villages shield defense. Talk to the binary lifter in Aurilia ( wp will be provided ) and download 8 different schematics to your crafting device. You have to create 20 or more of any of these items. Talk to the binary lifter again and use the option to provide components. You will get the resources from the Eozlin quest phase 2 and phase 3 and from sith shadows ( loot ) in phase 3.

Schematics are :

Endrost Alloy : 8 Endrine ore,1 Ostrine ore,1 Wind crystal energy item

Shield housing : 6 Endrine ore,4 Rudic ore items

Power Supply : 2 Ostrine ore,3 Endrine ore,5 Wind crystal energy item,1 power supply ( optional )

Unit computer : 4 Rudic ore items,6 Ardanium II energy item,1 unit computer ( optional )

Regulator : 5 Ostrine ore,4 Rudic ore,1 Regulator ( optional )

Shield Connection : 10 Ostrine ore

Primary Computer : 4 Rudic ore,3 Ardanium II energy item,3 Wind crystal energy item,1 primary computer ( optional )

Shield : 1 Endrost alloy, 1 shield housing, 1 power supply, 1 unit computer, 1 regulator, 1 shield connection, 1 primary computer

FS Branch Reward: Crafting Experimentation

Item Reward: ?

Still working on the quest. Every item needs 10 special resources, so I have to get at least 200 special resources.

Do you have to go back to the village to convert you exp every time you cap or once, you do it the first time do your exp automatically convert? For those professions with low caps(like ID and crafting) that could make a HUGE difference, simply due to travel time.

well at least with crafting you pull out your crafting droid at the village and go to town. Once again however ID's get screwed, cause A they have low caps, B to grind in any reasonable amount of time you need to be in a tent, C) there is no content for them in the village. It is great being the least loved, stat migrate slave, profession. /grumble

Best guess is that MAYBE all 32 or 33 will get you near the 6 free unlocks.....8 well MAYBE 1 or 2....

nice info,

it is clear the devs made this 2 keap people in the game for another eternal grind,
yet here they made a stupid mistake cause this will only make more people leave....including myself.
in my opinion as soon as EQ2 and WoW go live SWG is dead especialy because of stupid in game things like this.
